Didn’t realize there was such growth of Christianity in Africa. Is this why Christians are being targeted there?
Glad I’ll be long, long gone by 2070.
I cannot find it right now but there was a time just before the Declaration of Independence was written that many thought that Christianity was on its way out. But then around the 1790’s there was the beginning of a revival that lasted nearly 30+ years. I’m very interested to see what may come in the next 20 years or so.

Even without a “Nation” we still have a Kingdom. Nations will come and go. The Kingdom remains.
It seems he conveniently forgot to mention the growth of Christianity in China. It is exploding there!
Sadly there may not be a “wealthy West” for much longer but the gates of hell will not prevail upon the church. The future belongs to the nations that embrace Christianity.

Christianity is doing very well in India. The lower castes don’t want want to believe they will be reincarnated into yet another cycle of misery. Reaching Heaven immediately after this lifetime is an attractive alternative to them.
One of the most forgotten books is Spengler’s Decline of the West, published in 1919. The First World War was a great disaster for the West. Pope Pius X, who died as the was was beginning, famously warmed the West of the dangers facing the West. The nations walked off the cliff in 1914.

however ten percent of Chinese are now Christian, and the numbers are growing.
as for Islam...demographics show a huge drop in Muslim fertility, except for a very few poor countries. Turkey and Iran are already having a below replacement birthrate.
