His?
Typo or what?
Ping.
When he goes down to Selma and speaks before a Black Congregation and says “I Don’t feel noways Tired”, I’ll believe Ted has jumped the Shark, till then, he needs to be reminded that he’ll never carry NewYawk, though the money may be great.
New York City is the media capital of the world.
If Cruz actually wants to be elected he should talk about " Americans" instead of "the conservative base." The base isn't enough to win an election without help from other Americans.
Maybe he only saw a photo of the mayor...

Exactly! I don’t think Ronald Reagan ever mentioned such things as “the conservative base”. He always used “Americans”.
I have heard reports that Democrats are 31% and Republicans are about 25%, and a large group somewhat in the middle that can be called Independents are about 42%. (Gallup) It is my opinion that Conservatives are composed of part of this Independent group(42%), and they are also are a large part of the Republican(25%) group. I estimate that at a minimum 35-40% of the electorate belongs to the Conservative Tribe, which is part of Ted Cruz's base. I expect Cruz to also attract whatever "Reagan Democrats" that remain, as well as much of the Evangelical vote.
If you think that Reagan always used the same exact words to all audiences, then you are wrong.
[One pastor said, “I appreciate your consistency. As far as I can tell you are as far from a flip flopper as you can get. I believe that the country is ready for someone who says what he believes in and will do what he believes in.”
AMEN TO THAT

No, he didn’t use the same exact words but he always included whoever he was addressing as “Americans”.
[We had the rally and within days the mayor had pulled his legal threat to gather the sermons from Houston pastors.
His?]
The sentence is referring to the mayor. The mayor had pulled his legal threat to gather the sermons from Houston pastors.
Why do you say that? Do you have evidence of all of his little speeches and talks to specialty groups?
For something so unlikely, you sure post as though it is a fact.
He tailored speeches to different groups but he always used the term Americans somewhere in the speech.
???
The poster on #2 appeared to be uncertain about the meaning of ‘his’ in the above sentence.
Guess the poster was questioning “His.” The Mayor was a lesbian at that time.
Are you looking at a transcript of the speech, would you give us the link?
Even the article quotes him as qualifying for your standard.
"America wants to believe that America has a bright future. They want to stand with Israel. They want to defeat radical Islamic terrorism," said the junior senator who was recently honored with an award at a Zionist Organization of America event for being a pro-Israel U.S. legislator.
"They want to adhere to and honor the Constitution. Under no circumstance should Iran be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. They believe in the free market system and that people should rise economically, being rewarded for hard work."
I’m talking about Ronald Reagan.
