What kind of smartphone would Jesus have if he were alive today?

Not so strange, since Marys perpetual divinity has always been maintained by the Church
Doesn’t “divinity” equal “god” status?

If he had brothers they obviously did nothing of note They got more column inches as authors in the New Testament than several of the twelve disciples, eh?

Who is attacking whome? I will attack a specific teaching or, more precisely, debate against it. It doesn’t matter the church that teaches it.
I argue at my own church against eternal conscious suffering of the lost and for annihilation.
But it’s not about the church. I still attend.
It is about the specific teaching.

But the Scripture say that Mary was not a perpetual virgin, for in Mark 1:24-25, it says, “When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife but knew her not until she had given birth to a son.”
The passage clearly shows that he “knew” his wife after she gave birth.

For all we know, maybe Mary even WANTED to have sex.

I was not aware Catholic teaching was that Mary remained a virgin...that would mean Mary’s marriage to Joseph was never consummated.. so by Catholic doctrine..would the marriage be valid?
A lot of Catholics on FR freak out at the suggestion of Mary being a proper wife to Joseph, her husband.

Only if they were sons of Joseph by an earlier marriage. I dunno about that. Maybe Joseph and Mary were foster parents, eh? /sarc

Anti-Catholicism types (the ones who show disdain for Mary) will never understand Christ fully until they first understand His Mother, how God created Her and for what intention. That’s why She is so important in the whole Jesus story, and that’s why Protestants will always be a half-step away from God (until they meet Her [the other half], His chosen Mother for His Sweet Baby Son, Jesus).

After Mary gave birth to Joseph she “knew” him “in a Biblical sense.” So did your parents. Just accept it. You’ll feel better.

For all we know, maybe Mary even WANTED to have sex.LOL, I am sure Mary and Joseph BOTH WANTED to "do it" and had God's blessing. I am sure they took God seriously, when He said be fruitful and multiply, and were happy to do what He said.
