Michael Moore is an idiot. A flat out idiot.
But to be fair, neither of them in this “battle of the theologians”? understands the teachings of Jesus.

Neither side (Michael Moore and Todd Starnes) is going to fare well on this: one side (Moore) uses Jesus with a straw man argument, while the other side (Starnes) presents Him as being akin to the God of War, Ares.
He might trying invoking Mohhamed, and see how that works.

I'd like to give Moore a semi-auto rifle with bayonet, say a good proletarian weapon like an SKS with the "civilized" 10 round magazine, point him at the enemy and tell him to take him on, "face to face, man to man!"
I've only had to make one "fix bayonets, over the top, Marines!", on-line (no, not Internet!) assault. Thankfully, we got to an empty trench before having to use the bayonets. One time is enough for me!

2.) With that in mind, there is an argument for Just War against radical extremists, which most people know about.
And with that in mind (2) neither side will win in this argument given (1 and 2).
