Spencer and his brother were adopted from Russia when they were 3. His brother was dropped during birth by the attending doctor, who didnt know there was a second baby and has a brain injury as well as autism. He is in a respite care home and will be coming home next week as soon as they can get his medications right.
Spencer has had headaches for a month and was attributed to a sinus infection. Last night, an MRI showed a very large tumor. He is heading to surgery now and it is not known how he will be when he wakes up. It is in the part of the brain that controls language and understanding, which the doctors have prepared her for. He may lose his ability to talk.
The father has been paying child support but not any court ordered medical bills - it is my understanding that he is required to pay for all extra medical bills. My friend is working 2 jobs to pay for all of these expenses. The amount accrued over the past 10 years is staggering. The father gives the court old addresses so it is hard to get him served. They are dealing with three to five different states and she has moved to Georgia so different laws apply. She cant afford an attorney to find him and fight this.
Please pray for both of these 17 year olds and my friend, who has raised two fine young men.
Prayers up.

Good news. Thank you Lord Jesus . Continued prayers for him and family.
Prayers sent for Spencer.
That is wonderful news, I think so often God is anxiously waiting for us to ask for a miracle so He can show us how much He loves us.
Prayers of thanksgiving and hope to our Great God of Miracles.
May Almighty God bring His Grace, Peace and Healing Hands to Spencer and family. In Jesus Christ’s Name we pray, Amen.
My heart and prayers go out to your friend’s family.
Prayers for this boy and all who know and love him.
Christ has given us the authority to heal the sick, raise the dead and all the things he did here and more.
Matthew 10
1. And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
2. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3. Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4. Simon the Cananite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
5. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
8. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
What I am saying is prayer is great and we call upon the Lord for his intervention, but we can heal Spencer ourselves if we have “faith the size of a mustard seed” when we ask for his healing and lay hands upon him, it is the Power of Gods words that do the work, we only speak them with faith and conviction.
God Bless, I hope the Holy Spirit comes to you and helps you to exercise this authority
Thanks for the update—prayers continuing.
Any update on Spencer today? Praying for complete healing.
Yes!! Thank you for asking!
Spencer has his surgery on Monday. After spending 3 days in the ICU, he was released and is home as of yesterday afternoon!!!
The hospital staff called his recovery from the surgery nothing short of miraculous!! Also, flu is rampant in the ward so best if he is in a clean, healthy environment to continue his recovery. He is coherent and is talking and walking!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all for your powerful prayers. I am forwarding this link to him directly so he will be reading your prayers.
Also, he will be staying home to continue his recovery for the next month. Maybe Spencer will use some of this time to decide to go to a certain Georgia college? Hmmm?
Yes, thank the Lord, and pray that the family has a turn in fortune and college close to Mom.
Prayers.
That’s fantastic! Praise God!!
Thank you for the updates.
So happy to hear... Thank You dear Lord.... our provider, our fortress and our strength...!
