A woman who has been excommunicated after claiming to be ordained as a Catholic priest has said that she regularly participates in liturgical ceremonies with Benedictine monks in Austria.

Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger showed a reporter from the Daily Telegraph photos in which she was shown leading congregations at Catholic churches in Austria, joining a Catholic priest in a funeral procession, and presiding over a ceremony at the altar of the Kremsmunster monastery.

Asked whether Catholic priests have been disciplined for joining her in ceremonies, Mayr-Lumetzberger replied, “No, never once.”

Just looked at the picture.
She looks like a former NY politician.
Can’t think of the name offhand.

Leading a funeral procession can be done by anybody.

“Presiding over a ceremony at the altar” is an accurate way to put it, as whatever it was, it was not a Mass.

Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger wants what she wants when she wants it. She justifies herself because SHE wants it so it must be, as she probably says, "right for me."

Arrogance.
Pride IS the FIRST of the seven deadly sins. It was the sin of Adam and Eve, wanting to be like God.

Of course, we are getting all of this through a miasma of media.
My read: Poor soul, she is suffering from:

delusions of grandeur.

I believe that is called "Sociopathic Narcissism "
There was a catholic group at 'Spirtus Christi' in NYS, under the auspicies of Fr. Tim Callan,
who claimed "old catholic" origins, which ordained women as priests,
but Fr. Jim was excmmunicated by the Catholic Vatican .

"Sociopathic Narcissism " is a new word for an old sin: PRIDE, the first of the seven deadly sins.

Sin is as old as the human race. It's not going to get any better or worse. Our sinful side of humanity keeps us where we are. But, we know all that, don't we?

Erin go bragh!
