“Whatever it is”?
Don’t you at least follow Osteen enough to understand the things he actually speaks of?
I’d be among the first to holler tilt if he or anybody else said that perversion was okay with God — no, it ain’t okay with God. But I’ve only seen arguments from silence. That comes perilously near the way Jesus was accused of being a glutton and drunkard.
Some people don’t know how to apply the gentle touch in the right place, they can only beat on people who already are gun-shy. We have lots of acid comments by Jesus towards respectable preachers. I don’t see any towards prostitutes.

I do.
And it certainly isn’t Christian.

we also see Jesus speaking of sin to the prostitutes. He tells sinners to follow him and stop sinning.
The only sin in Osteen’s enterprise is not believing in one’s self.

His instruction to go and sin no more indicates He expects there to be a change of mind and way of earning a living. For at least one other, He cast out demons and thus healed her, again meaning there was a change by her, a shift away from prostitution.

Osteen has stated many times that he wants to focus not on sin, but on the fact that "Jesus likes everyone. He isnt against anybody. We all know that Jesus exemplified love. And scripture tells us that God loves us. The problem with Joels message isnt that he wants everyone to be happy. The problem is that by not addressing sin, and our need of repentance, he removes the need of the Cross - Wayne Dupree (Newsninja2012.com)
In recent years, Osteen has taken a stand for the LGBT movement, stating that he believes homosexuals will spend eternity in Heaven. He speaks very little about the repentance and turning away from sin (John 8:11) which is required. In an interview with Piers Morgan, he and his wife agreed that they would attend the marriage of a gay couple if they have a close relationship with them. He would do this out of respect for the person. How about the respect for the Gospel and what the Lord says about sexual sin? - Wayne Dupree (newsninja2012.com)
