I’ll call him Fr. John. He was a charismatic Anglo Catholic priest.
A friend of my brother Daryl’s we’ll call Henry died suddenly in a plane crash and he was upset because although Henry was a believer he was away from God when he died.
So Fr. John said, “We have to have a requiem Mass for Henry.”
They went into church and locked the door for privacy’s sake. Another priest we’ll call Fr. George celebrated the Mass.
Henry was about twenty years old. He was just over five foot tall with a shock of blonde hair and a wide face with freckles.

It was tied in with her maternal instinct, I think. She was at the sink washing dishes when she saw my brother (in her mind) being led off by a man. She ran out into the street and sure enough, there was my little brother getting in a car with a stranger. She feared one Saturday morning that I was going to get hit by a car. Sure enough, 3 hours later, I was under the tire. Maybe, now that I think about it, she was just psychic about cars!

Did you ever hear of the Miracle of Guadalupe in Mexico? The bishop who heard of the miracle told the peasant to get "proof" from Mary. The peasant produced the "proof" and thus the miracle was accepted. It happened in 1531, NOT so very long ago.
Demonic apparitions aren't "nice" visits. Those visits from Mary are.
Ouija Boards are really very old conjuring tools. They were once called plancette or planquette, I forget. Used very effectively in the novel The Haunting of Hill House. I have a Ouiji board that glows in the dark! It’s something that seems to work better with children than adults - and that’s another thing that makes them creepy.
I am absolutely sure of Satan’s intentions; its to deceive. When people aren’t sure of his intentions, they become victims of that deceit.

What you were seeing was the inspiration of the Holy Spirit flowing into them. Not all pastors have this. I see it too, and feel it. I once asked a very inspirational pastor what is was like to be learning by listening to the words coming from his mouth. He looked at me puzzled and then after a quick thought said, “You are correct. That is happening.”
Anytime we see a consciousness that is at a higher level than us (closer to God) it will always appear as light. It the same reason that in atomic physics an electron going from a higher outer orbital gives of light as it moves to the lower level.
If you could only see human souls like I do you would quickly realize that the anatomy and physiology of the human soul is very specific and often parallels the attributes of science that we already understand. Relationships between two souls are similar to covalent bonds while a relationship with God works similar to an ionic bond. These attributes are real easy to understand when you perceive the human soul as having physical attributes.
Stored memories and thoughts are also physical tangible objects. It’s how Jesus knew the thoughts and experiences of everyone around Him. Often I can reach out and take hold of a heavy thought in a person’s soul such as a sin and knock them off their feet by merely shoving it to the side even though I am 10 to 15 feet away from them. If I take hold of the low frequency thought or sin and say a prayer, I have often seen miracles being done by the Holy spirit working through me.
Yes, I am a Christian and Jesus is my savior.
Remember that Jesus gave His disciples the authority to cast out spirits. Seeing them is just a basic ability necessary prior to being able to cast them out. The intermediary step is discernment of spirits.
Too many Christians call Jesus their Savior and treat Him like a lifeguard that can pluck them out when the are drowning.(die) Jesus was a rabbi, a teacher and He was trying to teach us how to swim to save ourselves and also teach others how to swim.
When Jesus said “The things that I do and more you too shall do in my name,” He was speaking the truth.

This is a very unfortunate teaching. Those who believe it wait in their graves and lose track of time, but they can be rescued if someone prays for them.

As a rule, that’s true. But in some cases there have been exceptions. For instance, if you read 1st Samuel 28 you’ll see that when Saul visited the witch of Endor, she actually did call up the spirit of the departed Samuel, and Samuel scolded her and Saul for disturbing him, and repeated to Saul what he’d told Saul before he passed away; that God had taken the kingdom away from Saul and given it to David.
Things changed when Christ died for our sins and arose again. In Matt. 27:51-53 it says that when Christ died on the cross the temple vail was split in two, and many tombs were opened and those who had died as believers came out of the tombs. Also in one of the epistles it says that when Christ arose victorious over death and hell he took the keys from satan, “led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.”
Teachers I’ve heard, say that it means when Christ left the underworld on Easter Morning He cleaned out the “Abraham’s Bosom” side of the place and brought all the deceased believers with Him and took them with Him when He delivered His blood to The Father and sprinkled it on the heavenly Mercy Seat. Remember, when he first dncountered Mary Magdalene in the Garden upon arising from the tomb, he told Mary not to touch Him because “I have not yet ascended to My Father.”
(So the only souls left down there now, on the other side of “The Great Gulf,” the HOT side, are the doomed souls who refused God’s offer of Salvation while they were alive. There are only two possible places for us to go when we die; and we choose which one while we’re still alive. To go to Heaven requires a definite choice and a request for forgiveness in a prayer directly to God, in the Name of Jesus. To go to the other place, you needn’t do anything...and when you die you’ll go there by default.)
Several hours after telling Mary not to touch Him, he was back, and visited with Mr. & Mrs. Cleopas as they walked along the road to Emmaus, where they lived. And upon leaving THEM, He appeared to the 10 apostles in Jerusalem....Thomas being absent....and invited them to touch Him and see that He was real.
After saying all that, I must say that in this, the Church Age, these sorts of occurances are likely the work of “familiar spirits” impersonating the departed, having the power to take on any form they want....including someone’s blonde hair. Christ said that satan can change his appearance to make himself look and seem like an angel of light...as in promoting abortion and sodomy to the Religious Left, for instance.
So I agree with you. I also part company with Catholic doctrine that apparently claims a believer can lose their Salvation. A TRUE believer won’t. I won’t get into the well known money trail that results from Catholic mourners pouring money into the church coffers in an attempt to buy assurance of forgiveness for the dear departed. If the dear departed had given their heart and life to Christ, nothing could take that away, a la John 10:28-30. If they HADN’T embraced Christ, no amount of money can buy them Salvation. Only the Blood of Christ can do that....and it isn’t retroactive.

All children are psychic. It has to do with the emotional aspect of consciousness in a child. This diminishes as a child grows and develops their logical sense of self which does not have the psychic abilities.
Later in life when the ego diminishes in the mid life crisis when a person goes through the dark night of the soul the abilities return. We have no room for God when we are full of ourselves. The dark night of the soul is the great emptying or diminishing of self. Remember, no new wine in an old flask....
For me is was a near death experience when I was 32 years old and all the abilities came back full force and stayed.
