Oh He will indeed. I fear that for many it will be too late however.

In the Bible we are told that if the apostles didn't teach something it was to be considered "another gospel". Would you show where the apostles taught the assumption of Mary. If you can't than your thread is a misrepresentative of the Bible.

Thank you for posting those passages. As Jesus so often said “it is written”.

It would really raise the level of meaningful conversation if you would post threads by people who actually know what the heck ANY actual Protestant believes.
This FRoman Catholic polemic isn’t fit to line the Pope’s birdcage.

The Catholic Church and Her Bible condemn the idea that one can work his way to Heaven on his own merit or that God "owes" a person for doing the right things. What chutzpah!
HER Bible?
The Bible is GOD'S Word.
The Catholic church does not own Scripture and is not responsible for its existence.

Why would they really even WANT to address what the Bible actually teaches and born again believers actually believe?

But then they wouldn't have anything to stand on. I have noticed that they seldom if ever post or use the official positions of any of the Protestant denominations but only use their misrepresentations or what they would like to portray Protestants to believe.

Next time an evangelic Christian asks me have you been saved Ill tell them every time I go to communion I accept Jesus Christ as my Savoir. (painter)
Believing that you are eating Jesus is not *accepting* Him. (metmom)

Please go back and read the article again.
What you are claiming is not anti-biblical.
There are quotes from James, Corinthians, Ephesians in the article.

IOW, the Catholic church does not believe that the death of Jesus was enough to save a person.Neither do you - unless you think a person who rejects Jesus as his Savior is nonetheless saved.
God pours His grace on all. No one has to *co-operate* with it.
Does one have to refrain from rejecting that grace?

And yet we use and post from the CCC itself.

Yes your point that we must rely upon Christ AND work is anti-Biblical.
Further James doesn’t contradict with Ephesians, Romans, etc, because genuine saving faith is supposed show evidence in a person’s life.
I think I’ll stick with Grace.

No. Making an observation.
Believing that y’all are eating Jesus is not accepting Him.
Perhaps caucus threads would be better for you. Regular RF threads are not for the thin skinned or easily offended.
