According to John 3:8, he must acquire a body that can move invisibly through a room, like the wind.

Yeah! Fist pump! Whoops I'm probably in trouble from you-know-who again just for responding.

Several of your posts which we removed today were removed due to dragging one thread into another; making it personal; posting material from blocked sites.

Please review the relevant excerpts of the Religion Forum Guidelines posted below.

Thank you.

Guidelines for posting on the Religion Forum:

Guidelines concerning Hatred on the Religion Forum:

Certain sources have been determined to monger hatred of persons and are forbidden. Sources that link to those sources are also forbidden. These include Jack Chick, Jesus-is-Lord.com, Jesus-is-Savior.com, BibleBelievers.com, Vdare, KKK, Aryan Nations, National Alliance, Christian Identity, the false Jesuit Oath, the false Oath of the Knights of Columbus, fatimamovement.com, anti-Semitic sources, The Masonic Plan For The Destruction Of The Catholic Church...

...

The main guideline to posting on the Religion Forum: "Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal..."

...

Linking to Previous Posts on the Religion Forum:

The objective, on the Religion Forum, of not bringing forward disputes from prior threads is to discourage flame wars spreading, in particular the needling or badgering of other posters by bringing up their past remarks, again and again.

However, if you were to say “I recall your saying something else on an earlier thread” and the poster challenged you “Oh yeah, where?” then you would be obligated to link to the previous thread and I would not pull it.

If you want to argue the previous claim, then go back to the earlier thread, ping all the interested parties and say something like “Here you say the sky is green. Why?” The respondent will be obligated then to explain the green comment in context with that particular thread and parties involved in it.

If however you are seeking to “impeach the witness” by showing he waffles back and forth THAT is “making it personal” and I will pull it to avoid a flame war.

And if you are trying to embarrass another Freeper by recalling his inconvenient comments from prior threads, THAT is also "making it personal" and I will pull it to avoid a flame war. If however he is linking to an article posted by someone else - and that article was a "caucus" of which he was not a member - then I might pull the post anyway if I think it would have the affect of defeating the caucus label. Besides, he can always quote the source article directly without seemingly trying to work around the caucus protection. ...

Protestants know where the true Church is and in their pride refuse to accept it.

Actually, the only place in Scripture that comes immediately to mind that states what congregation is the church, is the Corinthians church.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

And of the churches listed in Revelation 2 & 3, the one at Rome is NOT mentioned.

You have your work cut out for you proving from Scripture what the *true* church (by that I presume you mean denomination) is.

So please tell us how having Muslim koran reading and prayers at the vatican made things better.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. I can see a muslim coming to the seat of Christianity on Earth and a seed of doubt forming in their minds. With God, all things are possible. And since they worship a false god(right protestants?) Whatever prayers they say have no effect. Empty words.

Go to a mirror point your finger and repeat your accusations. You’ll have the pleasure of condemning the guilty one.

Why would I do that? I don't subscribe to a theology that places me in the seat of authority to determine questions of doctrine.

Perhaps its time protestants did some inner reflection about their chosen profession of faith.

Hmmm, Let me see the options.

Jesus.

Catholicism

Mary.

I'll take number 1. I'll go with Jesus.

It's not too late. Holy Roman Catholic Church awaits with her arms open. I'll entrust this to our Blessed Mother.

That seals the deal. If Catholicism is about Mary and not Jesus, there is no reason to reconsider my chosen profession of faith.

The DEAD one? The one you do NOT pray to? The one with NO GODlike powers?

The one very much alive, the Queen of Heaven. Who hears our petitions and presents them to her Son. She leads us to Him. How generous, charitable and loving of Jesus to give us His Mother as our own.

What a cop out weak answer.

RF guidelines prohibit the use of language that describes what kind of answer that really is.

And the issue isn't about a muslim coming to Catholicism and maybe getting saved. The issue is the Catholic church embracing islam.

I asked - So please tell us how having Muslim koran reading and prayers at the vatican made things better.

You responded - The Lord works in mysterious ways. I can see a muslim coming to the seat of Christianity on Earth and a seed of doubt forming in their minds. With God, all things are possible. And since they worship a false god(right protestants?) Whatever prayers they say have no effect. Empty words.

So you’re welcome to any abominable practice at the “seat” of Catholic worship in hopes that it might cultivate a “seed of doubt” in a non believers mind?

You ought to invite the westboro crowd to spew hatred. Maybe one or two might convert.

Your doctrine and dogma ain’t getting any better.

By the way, my Free Republic handle comes from a Patriot Guard nickname. The folk in PGR are a bit beyond junior high school insults.

The Roman Catholic Church’s message of salvation is quite different from what the Bible teaches. ..What they’ve been taught ‘to believe’ concerning salvation is in opposition to what the Bible teaches....one of which is teaching that works are needed for salvation, which in essence is a false gospel.

Additionally that ‘ Penance’ is required... that people who have committed sins (whatever kind) are to go ‘to the priest’ and confess their sins to him, and ‘the priest will give him the forgiveness’ of that persons sins.

There are many other teachings of the catholic church which oppose what the scriptures teach...but then false doctrines, which can often lead to blindness, is not easily overcome....especially when they “believe” they have the truth. Much the same as other false doctrines and false religions ‘believe’.

One has to “want to know God’s truth” above all and everything else......no matter what or where it leads....He knows the difference between the heart truly seeking Him and His truth, and those who simply want to confirm something else then what He would otherwise show them.

The following considers the strength of the evidence, it ranges from as certain as anything can be that occurred so long ago, to questionable in the sense of few or no primary records and contradicting secondary records.

https://www.reclaimingthemind.org/content/Parchmentandpen/DeathoftheApostles.pdf

With regard to our conversation, I accept your clarification that you never intended to imply that a person merely had to “be” a spiritual brother and that it is important to be a doer. If you sincere in this clarification, then the martyrdom of Jesus’ brothers is strong testimony that they were spiritual brothers. At least, this seems logical to me.

I accept, by your non-reply, that Jesus certainly never rejected his mother.

With regard to showing me the truth of the Bible, one source of truth is the consistency of what’s in the Bible with other records. In the context of this conversation, the evidence - again ranging from very strong in some cases to somewhat speculative in other cases - of the martyrdom of the apostles. If the Jesus story had been made up, why would these men have put themselves at the risk of martyrdom?

Perhaps you know the origin of the word martyr. But, it it reassuring, every know and then, to remind yourself of it.

I’ll entrust this to our Blessed Mother.

Did Mary speak all into creation? Did Mary pay the price for our salvation above and beyond our capability?

Let’s go for broke...

Can Mary make a rock heavier than she can lift?

Semiramis?

Tammuz? - He's dead too.

.

Luke 8:

[21] And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Just how many mothers did he give us then?

What a cop out weak answer.

I'm sure when the Holy Spirit descends upon somone that He doesn't consider it weak and a cop out. It's a shame that you consider it to be.

RF guidelines prohibit the use of language that describes what kind of answer that really is.

That's okay. I don't expect much better from protestants. They are a rather vulgar specimen.

And the issue isn't about a muslim coming to Catholicism and maybe getting saved. The issue is the Catholic church embracing islam.

I'll be sure to get right on that and embrace the protestant final solution as expressed by the "nuke Mecca" crowd. That's why I know they are not serious about this issue. That's the level of spiritual discourse they bring to the table.

As Belloc said, Islam is a Catholic heresy and it will be dealt with by the Roman Catholic Church. It really isn't a protestant problem. They should just be quiet and continue to sit at the kiddie table.

You seem to be saying you are not responsible for your own actions. Are you a man made in God’s own image or a puppet in need of a goddess?
