Many other elements were protestantized, e.g. removing the tabernacle from front and center on the altar, the priest turning his back to face the "people of God" rather than facing God, altar girls, Euacharistic monsters, Holy Communion in the Paw and on the Hoof, etc.

akk these are minor changes in ceremonies....how a feat is accomplished. None of these, however, changed one iota of church doctrine. I don't like a few of these but basically they changed what were no more nor less meaningful in the past. Eucharistic ministers have been overdue for years...in the past the presiding priest had to distribute the Eucharist to the entire group present (sometimes an associate could show up to assist). Recieving on the hand saved an enormous amount of time and let's face it, Christ really can't be too disturbed that the Eucharist isn't placed directly on the tongue...there is certainly no disrespect shown here.

...Is it really credible that Christ would allow His Bride the Church to fall into such grave error that everyone from the Supreme Pontiff to the pewsitter is now manifestly outside it ....

Yes. It is credible, it is happening, and it is manifest.

Since he had a bible he couldn't have been a Catholic...Likely he was going to take it to a lab and have it tested...

Catholics have had the bible about 1,600 years longer than anyone else...

...Receiving on the hand saved an enormous amount of time...

Not true -preparing the “lay ministers” to get lined up and ready to distribute takes an excruciating amount of time.

And it creates a symbolic socialistic layer -

Remember the sense of the sacred.

Since Christ is truly there, no breadlines OK?

I would suggest that Fox news not attend this .Plus it’s not a true black Mass without a consecrated Host and right now only 13 people are attending.Looks like only his group which is a pretty sad number.Probably paid more than that in advertising,.After reading about him and his wife this is a scam as was his last adventure which was cancelled.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/08/satanists-plan-to-stage-black-mass-in-oklahoma-city-sparks-outrage/
“This Satanic ritual is deadly serious,” he wrote. “It is a blasphemous and obscene inversion of the Catholic Mass. Using a consecrated Host obtained illicitly from a Catholic church and desecrating it in the vilest ways imaginable, the practitioners offer it in sacrifice to Satan.”

On Thursday the head of the Tulsa Archdiocese, Bishop Edward Slattery, issued a similar message. He urged his parishoners to fast and pray for the event’s cancellation.

Coakley told FoxNews.com he could not just ignore what the satanist’s planned to do even though their event in the Civic Center’s 92-seat basement theater has sold only 13 tickets to date. The satanists are also planning an exorcism to rid a person of the Holy Spirit.

“They intend to commit an act of blasphemous sacrilege against the Catholic Eucharistic host,” the archbishop said. “It is my duty to prevent this blasphemy from taking place in a public venue.”

On its website, Dakhma of Angra Mainyu says the black mass at the Civic Center has been toned down to allow it to be performed in a public government building. “The authenticity and purpose of the Black Mass will remain intact while allowing for slight changes so that a public viewing can occur without breaking Oklahoma’s laws based on nudity, public urination and other sex acts,” the website says.

The group paid $420 to rent the theater. Its self-described high priest is Adam Daniels, 35, of Oklahoma City.

He acknowledged in an interview with “The Oklahoman” news paper last month that he was a registered sex offender. He said he was convicted in 2009 for an inappropriate relationship with an inmate at a prison where he worked as a correction officer.

First of all: It’s not a “ceremony”; it’s a Holy Sacrifice. Secondly, all the changes are major because they degrade the Sacrifice.

nonsense...it is a ceremony just by name only...the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has had ceremonial aspects from the beginning...things are done in order, every week is pretty much the same and NOTHING that is done, in any way, degrades the sacrifice. Good grief, the Mass has been offered in practically any venue and situation that you can imagine and NOTHING changed....in prison, war time, catacombs, terrorist camps...the Mass is ALWAYS the same

The Mass was always the same until VC II.

If , as you claim, the Mass is the same, why has Pope Francis mercilessly cracked down on the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate and forbidden them from offering the Mass of All Time?

You homepage states that your 73 years old. Why would the current Pope forbid the offering of the same Mass that you assisted at for a good portion of your life?

Recieving on the hand saved an enormous amount of time

As I recall (I received First Communion in 1953), distributing Communion went a lot faster when we still knelt at the Communion rail and received on the tongue. The priest moved along the rail, almost like an assembly line. Standing to receive slowed things down enormously -- you have to wait for the person in front of you to move out of the way, then step up, then step away so the person behind you can step up.

In our parish we have 4 ministers distributing the host and 4 distributing the chalice...quite efficient and rapid.
