LUBBOCK, Texas – Homosexual advocates are outraged that a Christian children’s ministry in Texas fired an employee after he introduced his boyfriend to a group of children under his care.
Children’s Home of Lubbock is a non-profit west Texas ministry founded in 1954 and sponsored by Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock. According to the church’s website, the children’s home is committed to bringing “hope, healing, a sense of worth and value to the lives of fatherless, abused, and neglected children.”
“In spite of the negative behavioral responses, every child, and family of origin will be treated with dignity and compassion of Christ,” the church’s website says. “This ministry brings those of differing gifts together to be the hands, feet, arms, tears and heart of God to defend the cause of the fatherless and at-risk families.”
However, the Christian children’s home became the subject of controversy this month when Casey Stegall, a 22-year-old male college student, was fired from the ministry. Stegall, who had worked at the home as a child caregiver for 14 months, describes himself as a “gay Christian.”

This Is is part of the homosexual agenda—”normalizing” sinful behavior. We are here to be reconciled to God, not the other way around. Homosexuals want to be considered “normal,” not aberrant and lash out when they are not accepred as such. This is their “tolerance.”

Nothing like a little recruitment visit, right? Show those young teenage boys that it’s OK with God if they experiment with “gay” sex, it’s okay...

You sure you don't mean the difference between the Church of Christ and the United Church of Christ? The former is sectarian, no instrumental music and takes communion often, and theologically conservative, while the latter is essentially a leftist organization--I think Jeremiah Wright was UCC.
There was, until the language was co-opted. You wanna mess with minds, tell 'em Paul wrote in the Bible that everyone should be a gay Christian, and when they incredulously ask where, tell 'em Philippians 4:4.

Religious freedom trumps your choice of a job, when the employer is one whose moral/ethical values, and its mission’s values, do not agree with your life choices. No doubt the young man can find work elsewhere and knowing the Christian ministry’s objections, and their right to them, he should just move on.
They can be outraged all they want. It aint happening.
I would just say that there is no such thing as an unrepentant practicing homosexual Christian.
It’s a sin, and sin cannot be thrown in the face of God without consequence.
