More from article:
His head was turning, his eyes rolled back, his mouth went crazy, he started talking in tongues then it threw my grandson completely across the room.
The nurse who witnessed this would not go back into the room while the doctor, realizing this was well beyond his capabilities, called police and paramedics to take the child and his brother, both of whom fell unconscious, to Gary ER.
When there, and in the grips of demonic possession, his grandmother maintained, her youngest grandson growling and gurning walked backwards towards a wall then glided up it, walking backwards to above her head height, holding her hands all the way as she tried to coax him down and it out, before flipping over her head and landing on the floor.
The child had no recollection of the event that was witnessed by nurses, social workers and paramedics all of whom recorded it in official reports.
Cary Indiana Police Captain Charles Austin, 62, was there the day the footage seen here was recorded. He entered a skeptic and left convinced that he had just witnessed a portal to hell.
Note to self: Cancel vacation trip to Gary, Indiana.
Convinced: After three decades on the force, Gary Police Captain was in no doubt: He told MailOnline: ‘Everyone of us who was there that day in the basement and who saw what we saw, went through what we went through after we all think the same, we all call it the same. That bit of dirt is a portal to hell’
did you undertake watching the video footage?
Im hesitant to do so...,very hesitant.
Possessed? really?? Ok then...
But I do have to wonder if this dwelling had a previous history as a crack-house or drug refining facility and there was a concentration of something in the air.
This story is sure trying to grow some legs.
If it was in Gary, Indiana, most likely it was “repossessed.”
In one of Stephen King's early novels, he used the description "a lingering emotional resonance."
I’ve glanced at a ton of stories this week about demon posession and thought there was some sort of huge increase. Then I realized they were all the same, single, story reported from multiple sources.
LOL
Michael jackson is from there and he was creepier.
In this case, as reported more thoroughly in local media, there are many credible witnesses, including doctors, that will not discuss it with the media but are the authors of reports, or are quoted in reports. Some professionals have come forward and are quoted in the story. Based on what I have read about this, the mother had a confusing practice of her faith. While she seems to have been devoutly christian & religious, she seems to also have been involved in trying to contact spirits through "clairvoyants". The Jesuit priest I mention earlier said that ceremonies to reach out to the dead were more common in cultures where the church acknowledged demonic possession and approved exorcisms (in Africa). He said, "God doesn't answer the phone the way humans would hope. So contacting the dead will often be a wrong number. Evil preys on deception and deep seated faith and acceptance of direct spiritual contact with the dead. Stay away from Ouija Boards and games. Only talk to God through Christ with guidance of the Holy Spirit." (The quotes are as I remember them, may paraphrased). So... I believe these things are out there. I can't positively commit to the validity of this case. I do not think I have ever witnessed demonic possession. I do not want to.
***Yes, it’s called gullibility***
Remember when a gullible America fell for this?
The Amityville Horror.

From the article, the ghost story was... “created this horror story over many bottles of wine”.
I’m 67 years old and have read so many stories like this over the years. All have been frauds.
I still remember back in 1959 when two men shot a dragon west of Roswell NM. The paper ran with the tale till it was debunked when the shooters admitted it was just a large snake skin they bought from some guy around Ruidoso.
If you go back and look at old newspapers you will find tales of cowboys who saw a huge flying dragon back in the 1880s, a flying machine that grabbed cattle (1880s), Viking ships sticking out of a mountainside, hidden treasure doors in the Wichita Mountains, cave of gold bars at Ft Huachuca AZ and lots of other unprovable tales.
Jim Bridger even claimed to have found a diamond as big as a mountain and some people wanted him to lead an expedition to it. Then there was his tale of finding a petrified forest with petrified birds singing petrified songs still sitting on the limbs.
I am suspicious about the grandmother holding his hands as he walked backward up the wall. Doing it solo with no leverage whatsoever would be more convincing. Maybe the kid’s just acrobatic. And the growling? Actors act that kind of stuff all the time. I believe evil exists but I don’t know about this story.
The one that worked, apparently.
The parts that were praising God there was no reaction from Latoya, Father Maginot recalled. The parts condemning the demon she convulsed which was interesting to me as she doesnt know Latin.
Now, THAT’S a real demon.
