The final exorcism was in Latin – praising God and condemning the demon.

The one that worked, apparently.

‘The parts that were praising God there was no reaction from Latoya,’ Father Maginot recalled. ‘The parts condemning the demon she convulsed which was interesting to me as she doesn’t know Latin.

Just a thought, but you probably don’t need to know much Latin to tell which parts are praising God, since you’re going to hear a lot of “Jesus Christo” and “Padre” and “Spiritu Sanctu”, which should be obvious to anyone who has at least watched the Baptism scene in the Godfather.
