JP 2nd must be rolling over in his grave. He sounds like he likes Marxism like many of the priests I have encountered. The great deceiver has annointed his sycophant. Troubled times indeed.

“Not once does Rush quote the actual document. He is too focused on the msm spin.”

This is true-believer syndrome. Rush quoted the Pope, and his assessments have largely been vindicated, even in this reply from the Pope. “I’ve met Marxists who are good people.”

This Pope is a leftist who speaks like Obama.

What is an “ultra” conservative, and why are there never any “ultra” progressives?

“I like Rush but his thinking was revealed as sloppy when he made the Marxist comment about Pope Francis. Capitalism can’t be made into an idol which can’t be criticized. So if someone criticizes the excesses of capitalism, which Blessed John Paul II referred to as “cutthroat capitalism”, he or she is a Marxist? I think Rush hurt himself more with that comment than he realizes. There’s a century of papal words condemning Marxism and many Christians have given their lives in opposition to Marxism.”

This. What PF was talking about does not lend itself to analysis on a radio talk show.

Don’t you get it? He is BOTH Caesar, as ruler of Vatican City, the smallest NATION on earth. And the “vicar of Christ”, as representative of the Kingdom of heaven on earth. They are both so entangled, but not accidentally. From the beginning, it was to be this way and it was structured exactly to be both a political AND a religious system.

“...the RCC is a political system as well as a religious system...”

The RCC is a political system first. The part that is a religious system supports that political system. With that in mind, it is time to ignore the missives that come from the mouths of their hierarchy.

The systems of men will crumble...the RCC is not immune...

Fr. Pfleuger in Chi-town. The radical priests. Remember, the pope is South American where this is the answer vs. dictators— to substitute their own powerful families to “run” the countries. The people... all of them... suffer as a result. The USA is unique in all history, and these people want to re-create it in the banana republic model.

...or they will continue with FULL support of the “faithful”, unquestioned and unaccountable, until Rev. 17 has been completed. That’s my guess..

Or ultra-socialists, or ultra-marxists, or ultra-communists.... because by God there ARE, all over the world. And they are pure evil.

Catholicism certainly must deal with the personage of Satan, as the great deceiver who is essential in marxism as the “questioner” of all that Christianity holds. In the questioning, which goes far beyond healthy debate and issues of faith, is the internal goal of destruction of society for the marxist, statist ends. Evil. No accident Alinsky’s hero was Satan.

Dear Abby,

A guy on the radio, I think his name was Limbo, as in
Purgatory, said in between commercial announcements
for trucks and sports drinks that the the Pope was Marxist, or Marxian.
Should I convert to Marxistism? Please reply before Xmas.

Your Faithful Listener,

Catlick

Pope needs a KNOCK upside the head with a stone tablet large enough to contain all of the names of Christians murdered by Marxists.

When put into the context of previous papal teaching, (teaching that has far more weighty authority I might add, because these are papal encyclicals, not mere apostolic exhortations), it would seem that Pope Francis' remarks are quite mild in comparison. This is papal teaching that goes back 120 years! Are they all Marxists?

Could be!

It’s all in prophesy for anyone to see. A one world religion combined with a one world government. It fits the history of the Catholic Church and will be in its future.

I don't think he is familiar with the church's teaching on subsidiarity

He has some interesting views on redistribution.

Why is the Vatican a sovereign nation? So that no individual nation other than the church itself controls the church. This is not really that hard to understand.

For example, Why is the Tea Party a separate group? So that no one pre-existing party controls it. Same thinking, really.
