My daughter was getting ready for work and she took Frankie(mom) and Mocha(daughter)out to use the potty and in her hurry, she thought Mocha ran inside her apartment. So she and Frankie followed and she closed the door unaware that Frankie was still outside. My daughter is plaqued with guilt and on a mission with flyers to find her Doggie..please pray for my daughter(feelings of guilt) and that we find Mocha and bring her home. Thank You..Mom:)
Sorry to hear and I hope your little friend returns to you safe.

You only answered a couple of the Who, What, Where, When, Why questions.
And your profile makes it hard to guess.
Sais so we ( any in the area) can keep an eye out.
Make sure she calls her local Humane Society in case someone found her & turned her in
Signed up today, eh?
Visit your public animal shelter with a photograph(s)and written description of the dog. I suggest visiting rather than just calling or emailing Animal Control. A Chihuahua is distinctive enough that people generally remember if they’ve seen one. I ran an ad in my local (weekly) paper when I lost a dog. But this may be cost prohibitive if you live in a metropolitan area. Your local Humane Society or ASPCA often have local websites for missing pet alerts. They can also offer advice. Don’t give up. My dog was missing a month before I located him.

I’m sorry but this confuses me, who is missing Frankie or Mocha? I too hope that the dog is found safe, this is one reason why my dog is chipped. Of course my dog being 140 pounds he is easier to see than a chihuahua. Good luck.
Try the nearest Taco Bell --
Flood the whole neighborhood with your fliers.
You can never post too many.
And knock on doors, asking as many people you can.
Good luck! And may your search be successful!
I see stray chi-dogs all the time, black ones... sometimes in packs.... New Braunfels streets are owned by these gangs of tuffs.
heh
Is there a well fed cat around there?
My dogs were accidentally let out several times a few years ago. I found them again each time by walking the neighborhood and talking to kids. It didn’t take long to find somebody who knew where the pups were. On one occasion the dogs had already been picked up by animal control. You should definitely check the pound ASAP.
Prayers you find your missing pet.
