"Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing." - Isaiah 40:25, 26

Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

Well, stars, galaxies, clusters of galaxies, ... indeed are manifestations of God's enormous powers. But their structures and behavior are relatively simple.
To me, more subtle things, like a hummingbird, an orb-weaver spider, a homing pigeon, a hammer orchid, ... exhibit stronger manifestations of His creativity.

Thank you so much, NYer, for posting this.
Our God tells us that His creation alone leaves man with no excuse for denying His existence.
It would appear that He is more than justified in making this requirement.

As far as I am concerned, looking at the stars on a clear night with my tired old eyes confirms the existence of G-d. I acknowledge Him as Creator.
