Major General Ori Gordin, leader of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Northern Command, visited southern Lebanon on Friday and looked back at the Israeli villages that Hezbollah’s terrorists have been firing upon for nearly a year. As Breitbart News has documented, the route of the Israel-Lebanon border gives Lebanon the high ground, meaning that Hezbollah had a strategic advantage once it illegally occupied the border area in defiance of the United Nations. Israel has taken control of portions of the border area since launching a ground attack in Lebanon earlier this week.

An Israeli security source on Saturday confirmed to Sky News Arabic that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's successor, Hashem Safieddine, was eliminated in a Friday night strike. According to Al Hadath, commanders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were eliminated together with Safieddine. On Friday, Israel estimated that Safieddine was injured in the strike, since those who were with him in the underground area which was struck could not have escaped the site alive. In addition, it is estimated that alongside Safieddine, senior Hezbollah intelligence officials were also present at the site and were also injured. Safieddine, 60, is a cousin of...

Federal authorities issued a warning ahead of the one-year October 7 anniversary when Hamas terrorists launched attacks on Israel and killed thousands of innocent lives. The FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and National Counterterrorism Center posted a federal intelligence bulletin warning of potential violence "as well as any further significant escalations" in the Israel-Hamas war that "may be a motivating factor for violent extremists and hate crime perpetrators to engage in violence or threaten public safety.” According to the bulletin, authorities expect aggression nationwide that may motivate people to engage in hate crimes and provoke violence. It also warns that...

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr owes Israel a debt of gratitude for taking out the terrorists responsible for his father’s assassination in Lebanon four decades ago, but don’t expect the progressive former NBA star to say thank you, an Israeli columnist said. Kerr’s father, Malcolm Kerr, was gunned down in 1984 while serving as the president of American University in Beirut by two members of an Islamic jihadist group that is believed to have had ties to Hezbollah. “But don’t expect a thank you. It’s not in his progressive lexicon.” He has not commented publicly on the Israeli military’s...

“The World is on fire,” said Donald Trump, just before Iran attacked Israel. As missiles rain down on America’s Middle Eastern ally, Trump slammed the current U.S. administration and promised peace. Missiles are reportedly exploding every few seconds in the already pounded nation of Israel, which has so far done an incredible job of taking out important enemy targets while fighting a multi-front war and lacking proper U.S. support. The weak, feckless, terrorist-funding, Israel-undermining, Gaza-loving Biden-Harris administration emboldened Iran and must bear at least partial responsibility for the ongoing war on Israel, Trump insisted. “You wouldn’t trust Joe or Kamala...

High-risk” migrants were allowed to enter the US at the border without proper ID and now roam the country, a scathing new report by the Homeland Security inspector general claims. In many cases, the migrants were trusted to provide their own personal information before being allowed in and are now free to fly on domestic airlines without identification because of lax oversight by immigration authorities and the Transportation Safety Administration, the 37-page report reveals. “TSA’s vetting and screening procedures do not eliminate the risk that noncitizens who may pose a threat to fellow passengers could board domestic flights,” the report...

What we know Israel launched intense strikes on Beirut targeting Hezbollah's presumed new leader as he met with other senior militants, an Israeli official told NBC News. The IDF is still assessing whether Hashem Safieddine was killed. An Israeli airstrike cut off a key road that thousands of Lebanese had been using to cross into relative safety in Syria. Israel's bombardment has displaced more than a million people, filling government shelters, and forcing others to sleep in the streets of Beirut. Iran’s supreme leader vowed his country and its allies would not back down after its "brilliant operation" against Israel...

During an interview with Nexstar Media’s Austin, TX NBC affiliate KXAN on Wednesday that was released on Thursday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) stated that while Iran’s missile attack against Israel “is unacceptable.” He agrees with the United Nations “and others who are fighting for an immediate ceasefire. The last thing in the world this country needs is to see American troops getting engaged in another Middle East war.” And so, we have to make sure the war doesn’t expand. Sanders said, “The fear right now — obviously, what Iran did and all of those 180 missiles coming into Israel is...

However, according to the Detroit News outlet, witnesses heard no gunshots, and the house’s occupants quickly fled through a door, leaving the burglar with just a single purse he grabbed after rushing in. President Biden said Thursday that the US is “discussing” the possibility of Israel bombing Iranian oil facilities as payback for a volley of nearly 200 rockets fired at the Jewish state on Tuesday — causing a spike in global crude prices. Biden said the oil strike option was under consideration when asked directly by a reporter as he left the White House. “We’re discussing that. I think that would be a little… anyway,” the retiring 81-year-old president said ... Within 45 minutes of Biden’s remark, crude oil futures spiked to about $74 per barrel from its opening price of $70.10,...

U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday glibly ruled out any imminent Israeli strikes against Iran as the strife-torn region prepares for a response to the recent missile attack on the Jewish state. “First of all, we don’t ‘allow’ Israel, we advise Israel. And there is nothing going to happen today,” Biden told reporters at the White House when asked if he would allow Israel to retaliate against Iran. He made the remarks on the South Lawn before departing aboard Marine One without any further clarification or citing of a source for the military intelligence revelation.
