MIND READER

Unimpressed by the speedy liberation of Iraq, Edward Norton is jumping on Hollywood's President Bush bashing bandwagon.

As an actor I know in my mind watching him, what a low quality mind he has, Norton, whose chronic hamming helped ruin the film 'Red Dragon' with Anthony Hopkins tells the London Telegraph.

'Because I have been doing this since I was 5 years old, I know when a person is saying words that aren't their own-and it is apparent as it could possibly be to me that he is a mouthpiece, and not even a good mouthpiece.

'President Ronald Reagan was a B-Movie Actor, but at least he had the ability to touch certain emotional notes. Bush is just utterly incapable of it.'

I think he and Tim Robbins look a lot alike -- same bored patrician look and egomaniacal smirk. They are poster children for what is horribly wrong in the fim industry.

Ah, the power of cheese...

Brings to mind the old joke: A man was being ribbed for reading Playboy. He told his antagonist it was just like National Geographic. "You mean the pictures of naked women?" his friend asked. "No," he replied, "they both show you pictures of exciting places you're never going to see in person."

More pictures please!

Salma Hayek is the only reason Edward Norton is in the news. I sat through the drudge of FRIDA just to drool over her for two hours.

The neighborhoods were set up with apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes all in close proximity to have racially diverse neighborhoods with people from several different economic backgrounds...
We're talking MD, a state with its first Repub governor since the Civil War.

Norton is so used to seeing people who are trained to speak, that he doesn't know how a normal person behaves. I am reminded of the fact that the Clintons literally took acting/speech lessons to improve there on-camera image. They didn't study what was on their mind, they studied how to deliver it.

And once again, another American actor tells a FOREIGN news source how much they can't stand the President and/or the country.

Eddie has a degree in history from Yale? Gee, doesn't someone else we know have a degree in history from Yale?

Ed's one of the few to have made it beyond waiting tables at Denny's or Sizzler while they "worked on their acting career". He's probably the only college grad in Hollywood.

Still doesn't entitle him to anything more than an a@@hole and an opinon.

Shut your big mouth, Eddie, and go back to playing make believe and reading words that other people wrote...

There is an arrogance that guides these people that is truly breathtaking. Their contempt for the average american informs them. By the way, most of the stuff Norton is in was written by somebody else. These people need to move beyond their own pathetic, atypical experience. This isn't about Dubya's acting chops. I continue to be amazed by these people.

Sickening!

"whose chronic hamming helped ruin "Red Dragon," "

A movie that never should have been made in the first place, and I refused to see it. "Manhunter" is and always will be, to me, the only Hannibal Lechter movie worth watching. That they remade it into "Red Dragon" so Anthony Hopkins could have his Hannibal trilogy, was a slap in the face to Michael Mann. Not to mention Hopkins is a cartoon Lechter next to Brian Cox.

Edward Norton is an arrogant dungheap who hasn't done a decent movie since "American History X" back in the 90's. He's now only recognized as Salma Hayek's boyfriend...

Although she promotes only here "Mexican heritage" SALMA HAYEK IS MUSLIM (Mother is Lebanese)!!! CONNECT THE DOTS HERE!

Brad Pitt was the whole damn movie. A guy like Norton would have never inspired that kind of cult following. Even if he thought he was Tyler Durden ( i think that's the name of his alter ego). I think it was a miscast. Norton is a congenital geek, and not that great of an actor. Mr. Norton doesn't pack much of an emotional punch-- I've always found him to be dull. Compared to actors of old like George C. Scott, Newman, Gable, Mitchum, Brando-- he is a lampost. He evaporates. He's not fit to be an usher at a theater that showed one of those old great actors' movies.

He knows he lucked out and comments like this reveal a lot. He knows he benefits from dimished standards. When giants roamed the Earth, when we had iconic celebrities- not boring, flavorless bums like him- he wouldn't have been able to do community theater in Peoria.

His last BUSH bash was attacking his "manhood". Another Hollywierd intellectual heard from. Did this MORON even graduate from high school?

No, that was Ed HARRIS, who attacked Bush's manhood at a Abortion "rights" conference. Apparently to Harris a "real man" would help women kill babies. Also, apparently to the alcoholic Harris it is more manly to give in to one's drug addiction than to find Jesus and go clean (as Bush did).
