The party of the little man is at it again, being, well, little. Or maybe I should say the party of the common man is being common. Whatever you call it, the Democrats are up to their old tricks and I wonder if those who voted for any of them knew they would be voting for the obstructionist candidate. In front of the camera, the Democrats in the Senate tell us how much they care. Used to be they cared all over the place for “the children”, but by now, we can all see how far that love has gotten America´s youth educated. So now, their new mantra, that they somehow care more than any other party, for the minority, for the American of ‘color´ is blowing up in their faces and their true nature seeps out to the populace. My, my, my. Big ol´ skunk in the woodpile here.
Imagine you and I were playing cards and every deal of the deck, I decided to change the rules of Poker. No longer would your pair, or full house, or straight flush be worth a tinker´s darn. The new rules, which I would change after the deal, would suit whatever I held in my hand. If I only had a pair of deuces, well, they´d trump your four Aces and that would be that. Hey, dealer´s choice, I´d say and scoop up the kitty. Now picture yourself the losing party from the last election and that´s pretty much whose obstructionism is ruining the day for Americans and their court system.
As long as the Democrats could appoint liberal judges, you know, those judges who ‘feel´ the prosecution is being hard on the perpetrator by sneaking in evidence and fact at the trial, they were happy campers. But these Leftist, Liberal, Marxist lice only care for themselves and that´s just the way they run things. There is no clearer example as when the party of the minority turned Martin Luther King Jr.´s words on their head. Whereas it used to be the dream of some to judge a man on the content of his character and not the color of his skin, now the new ‘way´ of the Democrats is to judge a man solely on the col our of his skin, throw character to the wind. Except when that man is a conservative. Then it´s wait! New rules.
For years, even though the Republicans voted for Civil Rights in the 1960´s and the Democrats voted against, you´d never know it now. Co-opting that ‘cause celebre´ for themselves, they have fooled many of the people, most of the time. But now, in the light of the recent Borking of Miguel Estrada, the Democrats lay out their true nature as racist for all to see. You´d think a losing party would try to mend their ways to be more in step with what the citizenry want. But, you´d be wrong in the case of the Democrats, led in the Senate by Hillary and her little black book of blackmail, all those thousands of FBI files. Following close behind this latest junior senator, Teddy (the Swimmer) Kennedy and Tom (the Soreloser) Daschle are marching in Marxist lock-step to obstruct, to delay, to lie and deceive, as only those practiced in the black arts of Karl can.
For years, the Democrats held in highest regard the ratings of the liberal American Bar Association. Yet, now, when a conservative judge with an excellent rating from that very same legal gold standard is put up for approval, well, you guessed it: the rules are changed yet again. No longer do they value this prestigious (to them) rating as they have always done in the past. Nope. Now, it´s the unheard of release of every bit of paper Estrada ever wrote. What to you want to bet they wouldn´t find something to complain about if they had half a chance, considering how much trouble they had with the meaning of the word ‘is´.
No longer is it critical for a judge to remain impartial and Constitution bound, (and after all that hard work of the Democrats over the years to rewrite what they now term that “living document” to suit their agenda); now the famous litmus test du jour rules the day in the liberal roost. I guess I shouldn´t be surprised. After all, these cocks of the walk are taking their marching orders from the Head Hen Herself, America´s most notorious Marxist, Ms. Rodham Clinton and the Missus takes no prisoners. Get in line or get booted from the club.
For years, the Democrats have told us that the Republicans are stalling, are obstructing. Remember that deal they made with Clinton to make an end run around the Republicans led by Newt Gingrich when GOP made a deal with Clinton that lasted about as long as it took the ink to dry as the Democrats rushed to the cameras to say the Party of Lincoln shut down the government?
Remember how lies and felonious behavior ruled the day in the corrupt Clinton administration? Remember how it was just fine to bomb the daylights out of a country to control the headlines when Monica was showing her stained blue dress to the Grand Jury? And, still, some morons voted for these clowns.
Well, some things never change. And rule changing by the Democrats has now become de rigueur. When it looks like they´re losing, hey, they just make up some new rules. When they are called hypocrites, blame the other party for that which they are doing themselves. But now, the cat´s out of the bag and the Republicans, after wandering forty-plus years in the desert, have finally tripped over their stones and it´s about time.
Led by Senator Orin Hatch, the Republicans will repeatedly vote for cloture from filibuster lite (where even the rules of the filibuster have been changed to defang that tactic) and force the Democrats to go on the record with every nomination vote that comes before them. Now the Democrats will have to go on the public record again and again – and soon it will become clear: their agenda is not about being impartial, or fair or concerned for the common man. The Democrats will be tying every loop of the hangman´s noose around there own necks for the country to see. I´d like to say, too little, too late, but I´ll take anything I can get right now that exposes these self-serving, stay-in-power-to-hell-with-the-rules craven leeches.
While the Democrats proclaim they are doing “the peoples´ business” the truth is they are out to wound the President and the current administration no matter the price. While trying to rid the world of a most dangerous tyrant whose pants are stuffed with weapons of mass destruction, the Democrats will stop at nothing to back-stab anything the Republicans are trying to do, to hopefully put Democrats as majority yet again, in the Congress and the Executive chair. Win at any cost, even if it means taking the entire country down in the process. Oh, nice.
It wasn´t enough that the co-presidents Clinton armed our enemies; it wasn´t enough that the co-presidents Clinton made America a laughing stock around the world; it wasn´t enough to sell out our national security. Nope, that was just the mid-point of the trashing of the American way of life and the Constitution of these united States. Now, this pitiful party of Democrats mean to continue the downward slide of American Sovereignty, via the United Nations and all the other anti-American alphabet agencies and install Bill Clinton and Hillary Herself as world-heads of the America-less tomorrow. Their antics in the Senate are a perfect example of what these folks are all about, and it´s not for the better of the united States of America, that´s certain.
