Save All "Anti-N. Korea" Rhetoric By Dem-Libs; We'll Need It In The Future To Throw In Their Faces

Opinion:

It is quite amusing of late to hear American liberal Democrat legislators (and even some rabid, extremist, socialist anti-Bush anti-war types) launch into lengthy and impassioned discussion about how terrible NORTH KOREA is and how we should deal instead with that regime!

It is nothing more than a confusion tactic designed to distract attention and focus from the job at hand. As we know 1) Bill Clinton's legacy is responsible for the problem in North Korea; 2) these people are and have never been, at heart, anti-Communist nor pro-freedom.

This is the heighth of charlatan insincerity.

If you patrol the back issues of the Congressional Record or do word searches, you will find a great majority of these liberal Democrats who oppose Bush on Iraq, who have suddenly and mysteriously 'found religion' in the form of North Korea, have no credibility.

--They have offered no past leadership nor few solutions nor concern on terrible North Korea.

--They have been brain dead on North Korea.

--They have no track record of action on North Korea.

--They appeased North Korea, right along with the Clinton Administration.

Nevertheless, please join me in returning to this FR vanity/research thread over the next few weeks and months to archive the most strident comments by these shameless, opportunistic liberals pointing to the need to take down the Kim Jong il regime.

Once hositilities are underway with Iraq, they will have lost that battle, but they also will not want to carry through with North Korea as that is not truly in their hearts, and will probably revert to being quiet again and opposing the Administration, such is their insincerity and their crass, cheap strategy which can be seen at face value.

THE MANY ARCHIVED ANTI-NORTH KOREAN STATEMENTS AND URGINGS TO ACTION CAN THEN BE USED TO SUPPORT THE ADMINISTRATION IF AND WHEN WE DROP THE SILLY AND MEANINGLESS I.A.E.A. AND U.N. TWO-STEP INSPECTION DANCE, AND MOVE FORWARD AS WE MAY HAVE TO ON THE D.P.R.K. THE LIBERALS WILL HAVE SUPPLIED US WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH EVIDENCE AND PASSION, FROM THEIR VERY OWN LIPS, AS TO WHY ACTION IS NECESSARY.

The same people who rolled their eyes at the "axis of evil" speech are now telling us what a terrible threat North Korea is. Before, they dismissed it as a fourth-rate, poverty-stricken country incapable of posing a serious threat to the U.S.

Supposedly Joe Biden was going to give a speech regarding the failure of the war on terrorism and a pre-occupation on Iraq.

Lawmakers question Bush's focus on North Korean threat

By James Kuhnhenn and Tom Infield, Knight Ridder Newspapers

"...Joseph Biden, D-Del., pleaded: "Please, Mr. President, treat this as a crisis, because it is, if not contained now. Our options only are diminished as time goes by."

[snip]

"It is well past time that the administration develop a clear policy on North Korea," Daschle said. North Korea is a grave threat that seems to grow with each day that passes without high-level U.S. engagement," he said. "It is one the president must redouble his efforts to confront."
