Thousands of San Diego-based sailors and Marines will spend the holidays in foreign waters aboard U.S. warships deployed in the Persian Gulf and the Western Pacific. NBC 7/39 has contacted all of the deployed ships and most have responded, saying they would love to hear from the folks back home during the holidays.

Well the Diamond Walnuts San Francisco Bowl (believe it or not) was last night, and my alma mater lost to Virginia Tech when they should have stomped 'em. None of the other Bowls matter much now, but I'll watch the Gator Bowl since my son is attending the game; might catch a glimpse of him in the stands or something. :)

frozen turkey loaf and he yelled at me about the price."

"Well, that is being miserly," the mother agreed,

it was the airplane ticket."

"Airplane ticket.... What did you need an airplane
