Her brother was the one who decided that the statue depicting the raising of the American Flag at Ground Zero should show black, white and Hispanic firemen instead of the three actual white guys who raised the Flag. I remember seeing her on TV while the controversy was being debated and she was smug, conceited and very sure of herself saying that her brother would never bend or change his mind. Then the American people spoke and the rest is history. In today's world of terrorism, liberal Jews really puzzle me.

I believe she's referring to the Gallup poll of "most-admired" men and women that they do at the end of every year. Hitlery did indeed beat Laura Bush, but only by one percentage point, and it should be pointed out that: a) The 'Toontress only got 7% and Laura 6%, and there's a 3% margin of error on the poll, meaning that the two women are really only tied; b) Since Hitlery's 7% was indeed enough to make her #1, it shows that the public was mainly just picking any name they could think of out of their little pea brains. In fact, Gallup's own headline on their web site reads: "George W. Bush Is 2002's Most Admired Man, No Consensus on Most Admired Woman."

Or, to put it more bluntly: Ellen Ratner is lying, as usual.
