It was perhaps inevitable that the recent sniper killings in the Washington area suburbs would be seized upon by advocates of gun control. Like so much in the agenda of the political left, gun control arguments would collapse like a house of cards if people just stopped to think through what is being said, instead of being swept along by emotional rhetoric.

Kind of strange that Maryland with all the gun control laws that it has is the location of most of the killings. Proving that gun control laws really work.

Yes, the gun-grabbers NEED crime in order to keep the emotional hysteria at a fever pitch.
This enables them to continue to criminalize the symptoms while they spread the disease.

Gun control will not keep the criminals from having guns. It just might be some citizen with a gun who will stop the DC sniper.
