Two flags are better than one. And a small band of America-Supporters in beween them is even better.
Columbia, Missouri held its weekly Counter-the-Peaceniks-and-Support-America counter-demonstration this morning (aka: FReeping). The heat was bearable because of a fairly stiff breeze.
The same breeze caught our flags and helped make our statement for us. America the beautiful, the proud, the strong, and the FREE!
The drivers who pass by the Post Office on Saturdays know the routine by now. Honk for the peaceniks, (they need affirmation of the self-righteousness of their mission). Thumbs Up for America, (America needs no stinking honks, we are already affirmed by blood and sacrifice).
Traffic is moving slowly today in response to both the heat, and their desire to flash a Thumbs Up for America. Some even stopped mid-street to salute the wildly flapping Old Glory. One nice lady, noting that we were trying to get a group shot of our small assembly, offered to take the photo for us. Thank you kind lady!
Missouri says thanks to our troops and veterans. If not for you, the peaceniks wouldn't have the freedom to show their contempt. If the peaceniks had their way, we wouldn't be allowed to show our gratitude.
