Porn star Stormy Daniels wore a bulletproof vest to get to court to deliver salacious allegations about Donald Trump because she feared what “some nut might do to her,” according to her attorney.
Daniels, 45, was “paralyzed with fear” before her two days testifying to her alleged fling with Trump that is at the heart of his criminal hush money trial, her attorney, Clark Brewster, told CNN late Monday.
“She was concerned about the security coming in to New York,” Brewster told CNN on Monday.
“She wore a bulletproof vest every day until she got to the courthouse,” he said, although photographs of her outside court did not show any obvious protective clothing.

You got a point there. Just out of curiosity, how in the world is this jury NOT sequestered. Seems to me an argument of judicial negligence could be made that the jury despite all the threats (words of trump spun as threats) and all the tik tok BS of cohen and the high profile case should demand jury integrity by sequestration.

There is nothing stopping Trump from defending himself. He merely cannot attack witnesses, jurors, counsel, court staff, their families, or family members of the judge or DA. He is definitely entitled to say he is not guilty of the charges, and to defend himself publicly without mentioning the witnesses, jurors, counsel, court staff, their families, or the families of the judge and DA. It is quite common and usually not an issue.
This all stems from the fact this is a corrupt leftist court prosecuted by leftists with a political agenda AND a judge that fits that same mold.
