Judge Cannon Takes Wrecking Ball to Trump Classified Docs Case Citing Robert Hur’s Report

Former President Donald Trump appeared in a Florida courtroom on Thursday to appeal his classified documents case, while citing Special Counsel Robert Hur’s decision not to bring charges against sitting President Joe Biden.

Hur’s report showed that Joe Biden not only willfully and intentionally mishandled classified documents, stored them in multiple insecure locations, and procured them while Senator and Vice President, but he also misled federal investigators, obstructed justice, and divulged national security secrets.

Biden’s leaks of classified information are deemed to be so serious that the Intelligence Community is now performing a “damage assessment” to ascertain the extent they compromised national security.

Judge Cannon on Thursday, as reported by legal analyst Julie Kelly, took a wrecking ball to the Department of Justice’s case against Donald Trump.

“Robert Hur report and testimony is the biggest elephant in the room,” Kelly noted. “The term ‘arbitrary enforcement’ used frequently by both the defense and Judge Aileen Cannon.”

“Cannon hammered the fact no former president or vice president has been charged under Espionage Act for taking and keeping classified records including national defense information–which represents 32 counts against Trump in Jack Smith’s indictment,” she continued.

“Prediction: Cannon won’t dismiss the case based on the motions debated today–vagueness of Espionage Act and protection under the Presidential Records Act,” she added.

Isn’t arbitrary enforcement supposed to be okay if it’s to save “democracy”?

Close, but it’s actually “arbitrary enforcement is okay if it’s to save “democrats”.

JACK SMITH was IMPROPERLY GIVEN THAT JOB i the first place.

GARLAND gave him the job-—But Smith was NEVER APPROVED BY Congress.

Sorta like giving a 14 year old the keys to the Mercedes.

I agree that Hur’s decision has helped Trump. Whether that was his intention or not, I can’t say, but in all honesty, Hur’s intent isn’t even all that relevant. I can’t imagine him being able to do anything without the approval of higher ups.

My theory is that this was crafted, less to help Trump than to shame Biden into pulling out of the race. Hur was merely the vehicle. I doubt that he would be given the autonomy to write a report that his supervisors didn’t agree with. From the deep state’s point of view, helping Trump was an unfortunate by-product of trying to replace Biden as the Democrat nominee.

The reference quotes (source) types “Bratt”?

Bratt is litigating in NYC under a female NY Judge whose name also begins with a *C*. Chutkin, or something? 🤔

The case dismissal effort is occurring in Florida against Jack, in Judge Cannon’s court. Cannon was appointed under POTUS Trump.😉

Let’s pray that this lawfare sham is buried as it rightfully should be, and that the precedent carries both forward & backward with the outstanding and completed trials.

It really reminds me of back when Judge Noreika took a look and saw she needed to throw out the unprecedented sweetheart deal that the DOJ tried to use to “uncharge,” so to speak, the cocky Hunter Biden.

Don’t count your chickens just yet

His chickens are named Merrick Garland and Joe The Frontman, and he's not cheering for a dismissal of the false charges, if you get my drift.

The Hur report proves that the case against Trump has no merit along with the fact that it proves that Hur believes Joe Biden has dementia that’s why he didn’t prosecute him.

It should come back to bite them because, like Muh Russia and all the other fake investigations against Trump, this "case" is a complete waste of time. Smith has been involved in other, shady investigations, and this one is especially shady.

Countersue the government for attorney fees if the judge doesn’t award them.
