I occasionally get an email second hand from the local DAV chapter where a VA employee is asking us vets to give rides for other vets to VA hospitals and other VA appointments.

This VA employee signs off with its pronouns.

What a turnoff. There’s no way in hell I’d even consider responding to that freaks emails. To answer this weirdo’s email is acknowledging this mentally ill crap.

Recently, I took my father-in-law to the local VA hospital. At least 2/3rd of the employees I saw there were black. Certainly an overrepresentation! The few whites there were mostly in low level positions.

A couple of good things... we were treated respectfully and competently, so we were thankful for that.
