Incredible moment Nathan Wade's divorce lawyer appears to mutter 'oh dang' when he's shown text message HE SENT saying his client started dating Fani Willis BEFORE she hired him to prosecute Trump

Nathan Wade's divorce attorney, Terrence Bradley, had a candid reaction to a piece of evidence he was presented with while on the stand Tuesday in the financial corruption trial of District Attorney Fani Willis.

Bradley, Wade's former divorce attorney and law partner, took the stand Tuesday, where he was shown a series of text messages in which he spoke about the timeline of Willis and Wade's relationship - one of the central issues of the trial.

A clip shows Bradley muttering to himself 'oh dang' as he reviews a series of texts in which he seemingly confirms that Willis and Wade were dating before Willis hired Wade to help prosecute the George case against former President Donald Trump.

One of Trump's attorneys, Steve Sadow questioned Bradley about a series of texts between himself and Ashleigh Merchant - an attorney for Trump co-defendant Michael Roman.

Sadow pointed to a text conversation in which Merchant wrote to Bradley:

'Like just date, don't hire him. Do you think it started before she hired him?' referring to Willis and Wade's romantic tryst and the timing of Wade's hiring.

It is at this point that Bradley whispered to himself 'dang.'

Sadow reads on that Bradley responded to Merchant's question via text: 'Absolutely.'

Bradley subsequently attempted to deny that he knew the actual timeline of Willis and Wade's relationship and his text had been mere 'speculation.'

Sadow then asked him 'why the heck' he would speculate about when they started dating in a text message.

'What you want the court to believe and you want the rest of us to believe, is that for some unknown reason, upon being asked a direct question about when the relationship started, you decided on your own to simply speculate and put it down in a text message...

“Why would Bradley lie knowing he’s risking his law license?”

Katie Phang is retarded. Anyone would rather lose a license or certification if the other option is BEING MURDERED. Can’t they even recognize that?

What do you call the student who barely graduates from law school, and barely passes the bar exam?

Esquire.

Can you imagine being an attorney who got in a very good law school, paid your own tuition, studied diligently and got good grades - not getting any breaks - only to come up agains this ghetto, DEI bunch to defend an actual victim and have to keep a straight face?????

Is there enough scotch or enough soap to erase this joke and nightmare????

“...decision to disqualify...”
Then again, the judge could take the dusky road of the former head of the FBI, Crowley, and say, “Yes, some lying was done but obviously no ill-intent was meant so I refuse to act on this.”
He might remove Wade only. He might remove Wade and Willis and let the case go forward.
If he isn’t wed to a future in Fulton County, he might even do the right thing and toss the whole case in the dumpster where it belongs.

When Bradley was asked a question he would have a look in his face like he was trying to solve a complex physics question, or remember what he had for lunch 63 days ago.

Seems like a 15 watt bulb.

Who answers a question “I can’t recall if I lied”? That very answer about not recalling if he lied has to be a lie.

Agreed.

I keep reminding myself that the Judge had plenty of good reasons to recuse himself if he didn't want to have to weather all the pressure that would be coming his way, demanding that he leave Fani in the driver's seat.

He used to work under Fani at the DA's office (before she became DA) and even contributed a wee bit to her campaign ($150).

Given that he didn't recuse himself, I'm hoping he acts fairly and courageously. There is more than enough evidence that Fani is corrupt and venal...and clearly acted inappropriately (giving the "appearance" of even more inappropriate behavior).

I was watching - and thought the same, this guy is not answering questions, he’s evasive, and doesn’t that mean he’s ‘hostile’?

That said, I’ve heard the term but don’t quite understand what it means in a courtroom.

If he isn’t wed to a future in Fulton County, he might even do the right thing and toss the whole case in the dumpster where it belongs.

My guess is he will DQ the DA office and punt the case to the GA AG. The judge was appointed a year ago to replace a retiring judge. He is up for election this year. If he looses, he has a good resume. Besides working under Fani, he was a fed prosecutor and GA IG before being appointed judge.

The Willis and Wade show has been receiving most of the attention, but there are other issues to consider for DQ. Willis has made public statements about the case in the media and even the court room that suggests a high level of bias against the defendants..

Had heard the term “reluctant witness” used to describe him. Either way, it justifies the judge to authorize a more aggressive form of questioning geared toward yanking the truth out of the reluctant/hostile witness’ hide!

He said on the stand that he doesn’t know why, in the text exchange, he didn’t simply say “I don’t know”.

That’s quite a verbal gymnastic skill.
