Carville: Dems Must ‘Pummel’ GOP as ‘Nazi Hags’ Banning Books
Breitbart ^ | 02/26/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 02/26/2024 6:00:18 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Political commentator James Carville said Monday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that Democrats should “pummel” Republicans by running ads on “Nazi hags at school board meetings trying to ban Rosa Parks.”

Carville said, “Democrats don’t lose elections anymore. We haven’t lost an election in the last year and a half. We have an advantage right now, and we need to pummel him right now. I used to have a saying when I ran campaigns: the more you pummel them, the more they plummet. We have to jump on this abortion issue. We have to jump on this book-burning issue. Run ads on these Nazi hags at school board meetings trying to ban Rosa Parks. Run on all the things about all the intrusive policies. The majority of House Republicans want to codify insane ruling out of the Alabama Supreme Court. Almost 90% of them voted against protecting a woman’s right to contraception. Can you believe we are talking about contraception in 2024?”

BS, all the GOP has to do is publicly show the porn books the democrats are defending, turn it around and make them defend the disgusting materials they do not want people to know are being pushed on children.

The follow up with how democrats ban anything not infested with transgender nonsense and gay agendas. The whole wo0ke trans ideology is falling apart with the average citizen.

“I am not sure the GOP can competently respond to any of these attacks“

Since the 2024 election cannot be about Brandon here are some things you will hear incessantly until November:

abortion
democracy
Putin
Hitler
Nazis
abortion
birth control
gender affirming care
fascism
abortion
Ukraine
the economy
student loan forgiveness
abortion
social security
Mediscare
abortion
low inflation

Help me if I forgot something.

Did I mention abortion?

Oddly, if you go to a school board meeting and read what is in the “banned books” you’ll be thrown out.

The books that the Nazis burned were books on transgenderism and homosexuality.

Lots of books out there that are hard to find in public libraries anymore. They have been quietly and not so quietly pulled. And as for school libraries some of them admit they pulled everything written before 2017.

Great job!

Instead of asking for Dr Seuss-I’m going to test things by asking for some of the suggested books where banning is the notability!!! It is LOL hilarious.

Trump need only Truth Social passages from the porn to bury this idiot’s point.

Oh darn it. I forgot what Rush used to say: Racist! Bigot! Sexist! Homophobe!

Thanks for reminding me.

Say, did I mention abortion?

Lots of books out there that are hard to find in public libraries anymore. They have been quietly and not so quietly pulled.

And book stores have stopped carrying them. Publishers have stopped publishing them.

"The Camp of the Saints" on Amazon in paperback costs $250 used. Ten times that in hardcover. "The Turner Diaries" isn't available at all on Amazon. Funny though, it you look it up, you're treated with "The Communist Manifesto" for as low as $3.

If you have to search high and low for a title and /or pay an exorbitant cost for it, this is effectively a banned book.

You made your point: Abortion.

And I think you're probably right. Except they will want to talk about Ukraine while NOT focusing on what we're spending and giving to them anymore.

Also!!!! They will drum up the Latino vote. They will as every election, scare the crap and piss off Mexicans, Hondurans, El Salvadorians, Guatemalans with stories of abuse at the border, mass deportations if Trump wins, children being in cages at the border...

And the Republicans will lose this battle and quite frankly IMHO they have just written those 62 million people off, about 1/6 of the population!

***How do you deal with a situation where the opponent has (((total,))) as in 100% media control on their side and a language barrier preventing many folks from hearing anything else?***

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Spanish-language_television_networks_in_the_United_States Many of the big ones like Telemundo are owned by ultra liberal US media like MSNBC.

That's a HUGE chunk of voters that are written off and other than the Cubans who still are conservative (they really hate the commies in Cuba), the right has lost these folks not because of the ideology (these are Catholics and aren't really pro abortion, LGBTQIA, etc) but because of the fear mongering, fake racist narrative, etc.

Greek and Roman stuff barely exists in schools these days.

Which may explain why so much confusion exists regarding totalitarianism and conformity.

It’s easy to confuse giving a hoot about someone’s tatoos, haircuts and piercings but not caring about their literature.
(By easy to confuse-I mean looking up and saying down)

We ban books?

But there are SO many books we would LOVE you to read!

Most of all, how about The Bible?
I’m quite sure that my fellow FReepers could come up with several books we’d love you to read...so long as you CAN read.

The Nazis banned books expressing ideas contrary to Nazi ideology. Yet, many Nazis were homosexual, but in the closet. Banning children from seeing sexually explicit, or materials advocating homosexuality as a choice, is something different from discussing political ideas or historical facts.

Just an FYI - these are the books he believes taxpayer dollars should be used to distribute in public libraries, and also the books he believes schools should provide to minor children:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBhy_vlgKS4

Everyone save that link and if you see someone who wants to talk about “banning books” - throw it in their face specifically what they are so passionately defending.

As little as 10 years ago, Carville himself would have claimed to be aghast that such things could even exist, let alone be distributed with taxpayer dollars and made available to kids in schools.
