Trump wins SC primary moments after polls close, deals Haley crushing blow in her own state: ‘Bigger win than we expected’

COLUMBIA, South Carolina — Donald Trump defeated GOP rival Nikki Haley in the South Carolina primary Saturday night, securing yet another win for the former president.

The race was called almost immediately after the polls closed at 7 p.m., with Trump securing all 29 winner-take-all state delegates. With some 65 percent of the vote in, Trump was up by roughly 20 points.

“This was a little sooner than we anticipated. And even a bigger win than we anticipated,” Trump said to applause on stage at the state fairgrounds in Columbia moments after the victory.

“I have never seen the Republican Party as United as it is right now,” he said.

The former president notably did not mention Haley at all in his remarks.

Trump was joined on stage by several South Carolina Republican leaders, including Sen. Tim Scott, who, despite being appointed to Congress by Haley in 2013, endorsed Trump after he dropped out of the primary race.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, who has endorsed Trump but has butted heads with him in the past, was heavily booed by the crowd when he was introduced.

Haley — who was a two-term governor in the Palmetto State — was banking on doing better in her home state than she did in Iowa and New Hampshire.

In her concession speech Saturday night, Haley congratulated Trump on the victory but said he is not the Republican candidate best suited to beat President Biden in November.

She also announced she is not going anywhere just yet.

And if he won, couldn’t he pardon himself? Talk about making leftist heads explode!

“I’d vote 3rd party before I voted for her.”

Same here, if they take Trump out, I will vote third party too.

It is blatant, Nikki is the Chosen Deep State “candidate” who will be ready to “step in” at the command of the Junta, only to be thrashed in November by whoever the Junta selects as their next prop. Pray for the safety of Donald J. Trump…

I remember “Mr. Republican” George Will telling us to vote Democrat. Haley is that kind of Republican.

Nikki is also excellent at tearing down flags and monuments.

Perhaps she can join up with Antifa.

I am beginning to hate that woman.

I saw Graham get up there and get booed. He deserves every bit of it. I wouldn’t trust him if I were Trump.

At first, when it came to Haley, I had a “meh” attitude with no strong feelings either way. At this point, I see that she is part of the global uni-party and am starting to despise her. One has to wonder what they have promised Haley to convince her to continue her campaign.

Haley hopes to be Hubert Humphrey. Robert Kennedy had just won the California primary and looked to be cruising to the 1968 Democrat Party nomination when he was murdered on June 6. Until then, Eugene McCarthy was his biggest challenger, but after Kennedy could not be on the ticket, McCarthy (of Minnesota) was considered too far left by many and they threw their support to Humphrey, who was running third. In a contentious convention, Humphrey was nominated.

The RINO/Dem coalition are using lawfare to get Trump off the ballot, leaving Haley as the only viable nominee because no one else will have more than a few primary delegates. Haley, like most politicians, is guilty of believing her own BS and actually thinks she can win.

The Dems want to run against her because it will be a cakewalk, and they hope to goad Trump supporters into violence so they can justify a nationwide version of January 6.

Lawfare cannot remove President Trump from the ballots—even if he is convicted of a felony—even if he is convicted of Sedition.

The man to thank for that is an old Socialist named Eugene Debs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_V._Debs

Mr. Debs was kind enough to get convicted for Sedition in 1918, lose all appeals to his conviction all the way to the Supreme Court and end up in jail in 1919.

That did not stop him however—he was a very determined fellow.

From prison he ran for President of the United States on the Socialist Party ticket and was on the ballot in all states in the election of 1920. He got more than 3% of the vote that year.

If he were alive today I would give him a high five.

Thank you Eugene Debs!
