“Did the judge deny Marchant’s request to strike Willis’ father’s testimony “

I couldn’t tell, either. My impression was that he just blew her off, and that the old racist’s testimony will stand.

____
I thought he said “ I already heard it” or something

Maybe he will strike it in his mind or already made up his mind on the case

He denied the request to throw it out. Said the reasoning was noted. He could refer to the fact the state put a witness on who testified he was prepped with Fanni in attendance, and that he watched all of yesterday and 5 hours last night about the case. It actually is worse for Fanni is my guess.

The judge did not strike Pops testimony. He did mention that the testimony would be accepted under the knowledge of Pop violating the sequestration rules. Or some such.
I’m not a lawyer but I should be. After watching this, anything is possible.
