The Supreme Court has already created a constitutional crisis after siding with the bi-dum regime.

It's just an injunction. The feds can take down the wires. Texas can still put the wire up.

The case will continue in the 5th circuit in February. And after that I suspect we will see the case itself with the SCOTUS.

The DOJ better come up with their own engineer battalion with heavy equipment from somewhere because there is way more than just "wire" to get moved. It's a massive fortress now.

Is there a chance I may have to serve with active duty combat forces?

No. The Texas State Guard (TXSG) is governed by Title 32 of the United States Code as a State Defense Force only. As such, the Governor is our Commander in Chief and we work solely at his direction. The Army National Guard may be activated to serve with the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard may be activated to serve with the U.S. Air Force, but the Texas State Guard would never be activated to serve with federal military forces.

I was wondering myself... The web is kind of cool sometimes.

I am fluently bilingual, well-armed and very proficient with weapons owned and have a LOT of very good creative ideas that will stop/demoralize any force and don’t involve guns. PM me here on FR with a phone number to call and a legitimate Texas office to which to go to have a little visit. Has to be legit and researchable as such, not a Fed boy trying to con me. At your service...Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin (to the Feds).

The Texas State Guard cannot be federalized. It is relatively small as compared with TX national guard, iirc.

A Convoy is on the way from California. This could be great timing. (or a setup? still don’t trust this is coincidence)

I'm praying that California wises up and stands with Texas.

The Texas State Guard.

Only 20 states actively have these formations, and they answer only the governor.

Active state guard/defense force/militia:

Alaska
California
Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Louisiana
Maryland
Michigan
Mississippi
New Mexico
New York
Ohio
Oregon
Puerto Rico
South Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Vermont
Virginia
Washington

In most other states these formations are “inactive”. Alabama for example, the State Defense Force is formally inactive pending reorganization by the national guard, BUT it’s members still meet on a monthly basis, and they can be called to duty by the governor.

Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming have no established State Defense Force.

In Connecticut their SDF is strictly ceremonial.

“See post 17, they are mostly to help during emergencies, not to fight.”

They still get weapons training.

In time of war when the state national guard gets federalized, it’s the state defense force that steps up to defend the state against attack.

What weapons training? Cop training?

The security people are required to be basic cops or armed security or at least have a CCL.

2–2. Qualification standards
a. SSU personnel must be currently licensed and commissioned peace officer in the
State of Texas. Personnel must have at least two years of sworn experience as a peace
officer, have successfully completed an FTO program, pass a background check, pass
an assignment interview with the Director, complete annual firearm qualifications, and
complete required in-service training. Personnel must not be the subject of a criminal or
administrative investigation, must not have had a license previously suspended or
revoked by TCOLE.
b. The following personnel may be used to supplement the SSU as Brigade Team
Members if approved by the Brigade Coordinator, SSU Director and the DCG.:
1. Who are Honorably/Qualified Retired Texas law enforcement officers and
have credentials issued by the agency under 1701.357.
2. Who are newly commissioned police officers with less than two years’
experience.
3. Who have a Level 3 security officer license issued by the Texas Department
of Public Safety.
4. Who have had DOD military police training or security forces training;
(Personnel must provide a DD214 with the training or a DOD issue
certificate.)
5. TXSG service members who have a License to Carry issued by the
Texas Department of Public Safety.
NOTE: TXSG service members who are not commissioned law enforcement officers
and do not have a Level 3 security license WILL be required to attend the TXSG - TMD
approved course to obtain the DPS Level 3 security training for certification.

“Back during Obama’s 1st term he was scared of the Tea Party and feared they would overthrow his regime so he asked the Pentagon to study what would the Military do in such a case and it was determined if such an outcome did happen most bases could easily be shut down and isolated from resources to operate in short order, many bases and units would desert or refuse any orders out of Washinton and go to the other side, internal passive and overt sabotage...So the bottom line is if Washington DC thinks the Military is soundly in their corner they might want to rethink that.”

This is true, and it’s what I’ve been saying for years now.

Outside the five sided puzzle palace the military is a very different animal than what the joint chiefs portray.
