Didn't actions like this used to be considered treason and the reward a firing squad?

China has the population to send millions of spies here.

If we caught them all tomorrow - AFTER letting them in, AFTER letting them gain access - WHERE WOULD WE INCARCERATE THEM ALL?

This case once again demonstrates that we are committed to submitting to our enemy(s) either by design or collective failure at all levels of government.

Kurt Lessenthien is still serving life in prison for trying and failing to sell secrets to Russia in 1996.

“Didn’t actions like this used to be considered treason and the reward a firing squad?”

That depends on the accused’s political affiliation.

Red China does not have to send spies over here [the United States of America]. If they wish to learn any of our secrets, all they have to do is to go to a Democrat Politician or FBI Agent and ask them. For a small fee, they will tell the Questioner anything they wish to know.

Aldrich Ames was a CIA counterintelligence agent and sold secrets to the Russians for a number of years, he eventually pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison

Robert Hanssen was an FBI counterintelligence officer, sold secrets to the Russians, he eventually pled guilty and received life in prison.

This guy does the same thing and gets 27 months in prison, I think we know what the Chinese were paying for when they gave money to Hunter and then to the Big Guy.

Well, way back in the day, Bill Bell only got 8 years for giving the Russkies the F-15 radar.

Open your eyes . . .

This was done the same day as Fed-Spy Ray Epps was given a slap on his hand.

IMHO - Obama gave the orders overs over the weekend. Either Mike or Barry.

Oh, goodness, no. That sort of punishment is reserved for MAGA-types who sit in Nancy Pelosi's desk.

Unbelievable, such a light sentence sends the wrong meggage. Should be 25 years to life. In wartime it should be death.

Petty Officer Wenheng “Thomas” Zhao, 26, pleaded guilty............

Oh he is Chinese and my odds are that he was born in Mainland China. So for his payments from his paymaster, he can easily ask them to be deposited in a Commie Chinese bank. Thus minimizing his paper trail.

Investigators are for shhit. Someone dropped a dime on this rotten Commie scum traitor.

A Chiscum. But can’t subject him to extra scrutiny because that would be discrimination
