President Joe Biden’s “2024 chances are much stronger than people realize” for three “optimistic” reasons, Democrat strategist Simon Rosenberg wrote Wednesday in an MSNBC op-ed.
Rosenberg’s positive opinions run contrary to the general impressions among many Democrats, the establishment media, and pollsters of Biden’s 2024 hopes against likely opponent former President Donald Trump.
Rosenberg first argued Biden’s chances are strong because he kept his 2020 campaign promises of ending the pandemic and restoring the economy:

On the economy, a few things have to be considered.
With the internationalization of so much of corporate America, most Americans have come to realize that stock market performance does not necessarily translate to the ecnomic performance in the U.S. domestic economy for them. For instance, a rise in the stock market value of Apple, really can reflect less than half of Apple’s business as far as the U.S. is concerned (about 54% of Apple’s business is in its foreign markets). Similar value realities can be seen with other major U.S. corporations.
Secondly, the U.S. GDP (gross domestic product - a measure of all spending on all goods and services) is in part made up of what the government is spending and what Biden’s government is spending is about 1/3 on money borrowed today to be paid back by our children and grandchildren.
Lastly, you have to consider all supposed economic gains against inflation, which today cuts all Biden’s rosie claims in half.
It tells you a lot about 2024 candidate Biden that his border policy
fosters failure, lawlessness, adverse behavior, dependency, mediocrity, etc.
Biden is clearly on the side of cultural ruination, a
curious aspiration for the president of the United States.
Biden’s policies are dismantling cultural norms, not
building them up, as one would expect from a chief executive.
Biden seems unable to rise above mediocrity.
We once expected presidents to advance activities and behaviors
that serve to enhance culture, into a civilization that rewards success.
Clearly Biden cannot aspire that high. He should just get
out of the dam way and let someone take the job who does.
You haven’t ‘ended the pandemic’ when you are telling everyone they have to get vaxxed, revaxxed, boosted and reboosted every year PLUS some NEW ooga-booga strain you need to be vaxxed for.
And, you haven’t ‘improved the economy’ when none of you damned guttersnipes have even seen the inside of a grocery store.
I don't think they're as crooked. Maybe that makes me naive. We'll find out in 2024.
But the Republicans wear really nice suits.

We need to repent as a nation. 2 Chronicles 7:14, though spoken to ancient Israel, has some application today. We are not a theocracy, but any nation that has turned away from God—and we have—needs to repent.

Let’s listen to the enemy, and actually consider Rosenberg’s 3 Points:
1) Bidenomics is starting to really succeed.
2) Democrats have “won” 51% of the popular vote in the last 4 presidential elections.
3) Lawfare, Trump’s negatives, and Maga “baggage” helps Dems.
Analysis:
1) Point one is for acolytes of Goebbels: Tell the lie enough and idiots will believe it. The bloom is off the ruse with Bidenomics, and sticking to the claim that it is a success runs up against everyone’s personal experience. Biden either drops Bidenomics, thus admitting it’s a disaster, or promotes it s the economic platform for his second term. Good luck with that Joey.
2) Not sure they have “won” those votes in reality, even if “officially”; efficacy at cheating is the real Biden advantage. In addition, garnering huge overvotes in California and NY results in meaningless popular vote “victories”. Electoral college majority wins the Presidency. Ask Hillary.
3) Lawfare, Trump’s baggage, etc. will matter, but will also fire up anti-communist voters fed up with Jacobin government and Bolshevism. Biden will have an edge on cheating, abuse of law, government, and the courts; but, NO ONE could possibly give Biden an edge on enthusiasm.
