Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) blasted Democratic strategist James Carville, saying he should “shut the -‑‑‑ up” on criticisms regarding President Biden and his odds in the 2024 presidential race.
In a new interview with Politico, Fetterman responded to a question about Biden’s reelection campaign by slamming Carville unprompted, saying he would use the interview as “another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the -‑‑‑ up.”
“Like I said, my man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president. I’ll never understand that,” Fetterman added.

I don’t know if anyone could have won, but I damn sure know this.. McCormick would have outperformed OZ, and Barnette would have outperformed both of them.
Fetterman won because, A) he actually had a political base and history in PA. B) OZ was a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE candidate and C) Democrats have a huge advantage in general statewide.
You better have crossover appeal, or MASSIVE independent appeal, if you want to win PA as a Republican statewide. OZ had ZERO... OZ couldn’t even get every GOP vote that was to be had, let alone win independents by more than 2 to 1 or peel away democrat voters.
It’s MATH...
The people who say OZ lost due to Fraud, are correct, but not in the way the charge... OZ lost because HE WAS A FRAUD... period.

Yes, indeed. But Fetterman had two weak points.
1. Fetterman was once the mayor of Braddock, PA. That town was a mess before Fetterman got there, and got worse while he was the mayor. Is that decline all Fetterman’s fault? No. But that’s where the buck stops.
2. While he was Braddock’s mayor, Fetterman grabbed a shotgun and chased after an innocent black jogger. It was disgraceful (and borderline racist) behavior.
Oz’s ads did not mention the first problem until near the end of the campaign. It was too late by then. And the second problem wasn’t mentioned at all.
Tough, hardball play was needed here. Oz’s staff played whiffle ball.
As I noted earlier, the GOP needs to learn from all this. But they certainly won’t.

However, every once in awhile Ol Snakehead tells the truth.
Carville is very smart. Also, at times very funny. Like when he wore the paper bag over his head for the entire broadcast on MSNBC.
Carville knows that Biden can not win in a FAIR election against Trump. The problem is Trump Derangement Syndrome. Trump motivates the people who hate him to come out and vote for ANYONE other than Trump. That is why some polls show Haley could beat Biden by a wider margin. She will get votes from moderates who have TDS.
Everyone knows Biden is liability. That he has dementia. That he could never debate Trump or anyone else. Carville also knows that there is a limit to the amount they can cheat and win.
He cannot be referencing Biden can he?!

That poll showing Haley beating Biden by a wider margin is a joke.
NO one of either party is winning the presidency with a 17 point margin... that poll is a push poll meant to grab headlines in hopes of creating a Haley spike... or failing that drive enough to her to try to force her on the ballot as a VP.
Nothing about that poll is honest... its a poll manufactured to generate an outcome not a capture of sentiment.
Yes, Trump may motivate people who hate him, but this administrations failures have cured a lot of folk’s TDS.
YOu can’t hide how badly this administration has failed... they can keep pushing talking points but everyone knows looking at their paychecks and bills that this has been a disaster.
