Taylor Swift’s performative activism is getting tiresome — and transparently hypocritical.
Now that she is the Democrats’ official cultural vector for promoting their left-wing agenda, the mega pop star has become more than ubiquitous. She is being forcibly crammed down everyone’s throats. Her media saturation level is somewhere near Hurricane Katrina. Even NFL fans who just want to enjoy the game have no choice but to watch Clockwork Orange-style as she cheers on her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend in cringeworthy style.
The good news is that the more overexposed Swift gets, the greater her political hypocrisy shines through her media-crafted image. And the more hollow her activism becomes, the more people will tune out, especially as she inevitably ramps up her political hectoring heading into 2024.

I don't think Taylor's politics matters that much. But if you have kids, you wouldn't want them to listen to her lyrics. They'll be influenced by Taylor's worldview - dump a guy because you're bored with him or he doesn't treat you like the Queen of Egypt.

Ha. That's an exaggeration. Taylor Swift doesn't look too bad. But I think she looks average. Not sure why Travis Kelce is attracted to her. He can find hotter ladies than her.

I kinda agree with you & Ted. Although Swift does not lack talent, she does lack the depth or maturity of earlier singers -- Judy Collins, Joanie Mitchell, Gracie Slick.
True, they were also liberal to boot. But they had a certain womanhood about them. The fact they appealed to male listeners may show their artistry. Taylor Swift seems to appeal mainly to teenage girls. Sadly, she reflects our current cultural miasma, which the Democrats have been exploiting.
She’s almost comically non-political, to the point where most political articles that reference her seem mostly like vain attempts to cash in on her popularity.
She has a billion rabid fans (that’s hyperbole) and they regularly get horribly upset that she isn’t supporting some cause or another that they think she should.
Instead, she mostly follows the “conservative” philosophy, that to make the most money and remain popular, you should do what you do best, and give your customers what they want, and not alienate any possible customers by tying your brand to some political cause.
technically, a pedophile would have had no interest in Taylor Swift, as she was a post-pubescent 15-year-old when she first arrived on the national stage, and released her first single at the age of 16 (in 2006). her Debut album came out when she was about 17.
She in fact is her own corporate creation, with the help of her father, a financial planner. She is savvy at what she does, and has worked rather hard at the image which now makes her arguably the most successful female musician of all time.

She has been doing it for a while. Remember, she started in her mid teens. And her fans have been very loyal.
But it’s tough being on the top, exposed like she is. There are probably a million eyes on her…just waiting for her to trip up.
Me? I just enjoy watching Mahomes flip out when he loses.
