Bolton: Congress Must Support Ukraine or 'Russia Will Win'
Newsmax ^ | December 3, 2023 | Theodore Bunker

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton this week called on Congress to “quickly” pass additional aid for Ukraine, warning that “Russia will win” if the U.S. doesn’t act.

Many congressional Republicans have come out against additional support for Ukraine. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, recently questioned “Why would we ever debate giving another dollar to Ukraine when our borders are wide open … and this administration refuses to do anything about it?”

The ever-increasing pitch of squeels from the deep-state seems to show how important the Ukraine sh** show is to them.

Remember, Ukraine has been at the heart of EVERY major DC political scandal for the last 9 years, from Hunter Biden’s corruption, to Hillary’s “emails,” to spying on Trump, to the Fake Dossier, to Pelosi’s ridiculous “impeachment.”

Sadly, Neocon Ukraine must die if the US Republic is to survive.

Before we backed Ukraine's joining NATO we had good relations to Russia.

That is debatable. I would hardly call having thousands of nuclear weapons pointed at another nation consistent with "good relations."

Don't forget Russia sold us several tons of Plutonium to reduce their inventory of weapons.

You are referring to an agreement signed in the year 2000 - and which applied to the disposal of EQUAL quantities of plutonium from each side. Hardly a "concession" on the part of Russia. The U.S. was obligated to dispose of an equal quantity of her weapons-grade plutonium.

There is no definitive reason other than Ukraine that we are an enemy of Russia [...]

Putin has gone on record to say that the dissolution of the U.S.S.R. was the "greatest catastrophe" of the 20th century. He is obviously committed to resurrecting that hated, despotic, and hostile entity. If you are saying that we have no reason to label Russia a criminal except for Russia's criminal acts, and except for Russia's obvious predisposition to continue and expand those criminal acts - well, your logic eludes me.

[...] and there is no reason other than selling weapons that we should go to war over Ukraine

I repeat: We are NOT at war with Russia. Rather, we are providing aid to a sovereign nation desperately struggling to push back an invader.

Regards,

Russia has more nuclear weapons pointed at America's heartland than any other nuclear state. (Why on God's green Earth would you cheer for the victory of someone with hostile intentions towards America?)

For nearly 70 years America talked to Russia and our mutual problems were sorted out. Today you Neocons have traded talks with name calling and an active proxy war. Why wouldn't Russia point their missiles at America?

Why would it be better if corrupt Ukraine wins?

Because it would teach Putin's Russia a lesson: The national borders of sovereign nations in Europe are inviolable.

The WEF group is the winner already.

Putin wanted to join NATO. WE TOLD HIM TO GO F HIMSELF.

Now you are just throwing crap at the wall, hoping that some of it will stick.

There was never a sincere, bonafide, and official request from Putin to accede to NATO.

It was essentially like the Mafia saying that it would be willing to join the F.B.I. - as long as the Mafia's "special needs" were taken into account and the Mafia were "treated like an equal partner."

Let that sink in.

I'm trying desperately not to sink into the muck that you are spreading.

“Russia is the self-avowed successor to the hated Soviet Union - whose demise Putin laments and which Putin wishes to resurrect.

Every dollar spent to help Ukraine defend itself against this unprecedented Russian aggression is doing more to degrade Russia’s military might and lessen its threat potential than all the money previously-spent for arms and munitions ...”

The NeoCons say this and then argue Russia is paranoid to believe NATO is a hostile alliance...

It’s interesting that neoCON bloodthirsty warmongers feign concern over Ukraine’s borders while demanding unlimited immigration into America.

For nearly 70 years America talked to Russia and our mutual problems were sorted out.

Ah, for the "good ol' days" of the Berlin Blockade, the Soviet-backed invasion of South Korea by North Korea, the Soviet-supported Vietcong killing U.S. servicemen, eh? Truly "golden times."

/mordant sarcasm

Item: Any patriotic American who grew up during the "Cold War" knows that the Soviet Union was a force of evil. That it was never America's "friend."

I am not responsible for what anyone else says.

I deplore Biden's "open borders" policy and/or willful refusal to protect America's borders and enforce existent immigration laws.

You have no right to lump me in together with anyone else.

Cold War ended in 1989 thanks to Reagan, numnutz.

Putin has been Christianizing formerly atheist Russia and fighting globohomo one-worlder schemes, while Americans under Bush/Clinton/Obama/Biden rapidly de-Christianize America and the West and institute communism here at home.

But please pretend that modern day Russia = atheist communist Soviet Union, it shows how fake your globohomo arguments are.

What is mostly unstated and a hinderance to providing military aid to Ukraine is the rampant corruption over and over on both sides of the Atlantic. I have no doubt the Uks are atrociously corrupt and the US is no better. The public has been hoodwinked and is just flat done with these sorts of activities. It is indeed harmful to a coherent foreign policy but what are we to do?

I do not see this admin making any public statements on this topic. No effort to repair the damage ol poopy pants has done. The suspicion will fester and take this effort down. And Nato is not a legitimate partner. Little support—just enough to pretend.

Again: I speak only for myself, and cannot be held accountable for the statements of others.

But for my part: I wouldn't have said those negative things about Russia during Yeltsin's term of office. During the 90s, there was every reason to believe that Russia was in the process of shedding its imperialistic ambitions and despotic tendencies. During that time, I traveled extensive in Russia and Ukraine and acquired many corresponding relatives-by-marriage, etc.

Today, sadly, NATO is now forced to recognize that Russia is indeed a hostile power.
