Biden faces MUTINY over Israel war: State Department insiders warn of 'remarkable and unprecedented' internal turmoil over White House's support for Jerusalem

Joe Biden is facing a significant internal revolt against his administration's stance on the Israel-Hamas war, insiders have said - reflected in nationwide unease at the conflict, and his dismal polls.

The president has been determined to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel following the Hamas terror attack of October 7, which killed 1,200 people.

But he warned Israel's leaders in private and in public not to repeat America's mistakes post 9/11, and be blinded by rage and a desire for revenge.

With 15,000 Gazans killed in seven weeks of bombardment, many inside the Biden administration feel that the White House should do more to rein-in Israel.

Only one person has publicly resigned due to the Gaza onslaught - Josh Paul, a director in the State Department's political-military affairs bureau, which oversees U.S. arms transfers.

But sources told NBC News that the internal unrest - including statements in open letters from government employees - exceeds anything felt in the last 40 years, including the Iraq War and Donald Trump's Muslim ban.

'It's remarkable and it's unprecedented,' said Aaron David Miller, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace think tank who worked at the State Department from 1978 to 2003.

'I've never seen anything like it.'

The anger has been expressed by hundreds of federal employees signing an open letter demanding the Biden administration push for a cease-fire, and dozens of diplomats at the State Department sending official dissent cables.

At the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), hundreds of employees signed a letter critical of the administration's approach, while hundreds of staff members in Congress have staged protests and signed letters demanding a cease-fire.

They reject what they called a 'blank check' for Israel.

The CIA, meanwhile, last month sent out an internal email reminding staff to keep their...

Not surprised. This was bound to happen when your administration is filled with Obama acolytes who hate Israel as much as Obama does.

Deep State Liberals have burrowed into the FBI, CIA, NSA, State, Justice, etc., that all worked against Trump during his term.

Now they're working against Biden. Maybe now they can get purged out of the system.

But I doubt it.

not to repeat America's mistakes post 9/11, and be blinded by rage and a desire for revenge

That wasn't the mistake. Chasing down Osama bin Laden and blowing the Taliban into oblivion was the right thing to do. It's called deterrence. The mistake was thinking we could then go in, take over Iraq and fix the middle east making a deal between left and right - give us our war and you can have all the social goodies you want. THAT bonehead Bush Cheney move is what started us on the road to bankruptcy and political destruction. Bush didn't fight the American left. He gave them everything they wanted.

Did they all sign a petition?

That would come in handy for Trump when he gets back in the White House. Fire everyone who signed it.

Cause chaos in the ranks. This will be their way of replacing Biden.

The president has been determined to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel.

This is a lie.

Biden makes no decisions of consequence in the government. He reads from scripts prepared by his handlers. He is barely capable of doing that.

The cartel that controls the government is split into several factions which are in disagreement on how to proceed. All of the factions are either hostile or indifferent to the fate of Israel, but they realize they cannot afford to alienate their Jewish supporters in the United States. At least for now.

Jews still demonstrate overwhelming support for liberal and progressive organizations and causes. Which is ironic, since liberal and progressive groups are revealing their strong anti-Jewish directions. As we say around here, "this will not end well".

The State Department employees who signed that "open letter" should be purged from government. The same is true for the "hundreds of staff members in Congress who have staged protests and signed letters".

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Agree. We will start to see more revelations via leaks in coming weeks which will add fuel to the simmering fire burning under the Biden Crime family.

But it was just earlier this week that Rep. Hakeem Jeffries,
(D-N.Y.) was mocking Republicans for inner-circle turmoil.
Perhaps one should get the 'mote out' of their eye, before they take criticize the 'mote' within the republican party.
Is this called : "Karma" ?

Trumps was the only one to tell the truth, and his analysis was obviously correct, despite the media swooning. I would have counseled him to end the war.

“’It’s remarkable and it’s unprecedented,’...’I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Where did this Bozo learn his history? Just because you have never seen it does not make it remarkable and unprecedented.
