Having gone to college and seeing this fraternity only socially, there is absolutely nothing that I would want to do with an alumni in a business setting. I didn’t see a single member of the fraternity in any of my math or comp sci required courses. They were not in college to improve themselves in a traditional academic manner.
I don't disagree. IF I could undo one thing in this country's history it would be to turn the first slave ship around.
Just because Africa had a sale on people doesn’t mean the United States needed to buy. This was government sanctioned.
I don't think the US ever purchased slaves. It was legally allowed though various colonies were attempting to outlaw the practice.
The bigger issue IMHO is slavery is still happening today around the world.
Instead of trying to rehash what happened shouldn't we be focused on not allowing it to happen today?
I am sure Florida will survive not having a black convention of any type since they usually devolve into criminal and violent activity anyway.
I definitely do not want the United States to get involved in policing other countries having slavery. My only interest is keeping it out of the United States. I’m not concerned with China using workers for ten cents an hour. That’s chinas problem not ours. That’s what america first is about. I’d like the motto to be america only to be honest.
