Funny how the so-called “scientists” never want to factor in the unusually high solar activity this year. I guess they don’t think the sun would have anything to do with heat extremes on planet earth.

I wonder how much heat has risen into the atmosphere from HUNDREDS of massive fires in Canada ?

And, haven’t we usually had an Atlantic hurricane by mid July ?

This summer isn’t exactly normal, but when is weather normal ? No two summers in my Phoenix memory have been predictable....except we know we’ll get a stretch of really hot days at some point. This stretch came much later than any previous. Monsoon is delayed more than most years.

“Diatoms, baby. Diatoms.”

The “fossil” fuel fools love spewing environmental fallacies and banking on them to feel good.

Sooo, I’m buying my clean energy from “Quixote R us Windmills and weathervanes LLC.”

The summer has been on the mild side here in northern Indiana, the only hitch being the smoke from Canada. Maybe we’re in the global cooling zone.

Heat, flooding and smoke: The U.S. is in the midst of a summer of extremes

I guess it was never hot or rainy in New England in the summertime. Growing up in Connecticut, we had snow in July and in December, we had warm temperatures. 🤓

Now, who can be in favor of humans belching pollution into the atmosphere?

We need to stop flying on private jets and we need to tear down oceanfront mansions. It's for the children, don't you know? 🤓

They are trying to restrict our Freedom of Movement. Phase one is 300 miles. Phase 2 is zero miles when it is apparent that electric won’t be economical without massive Government assistance, which will be taken away. Kamala Harris said it best when she said we would all live better when we lose most of the population. Eugenics in population.

Plenty of smoke over most all of Iowa. Wide open prairie probably makes it less than many places have had, but it is noticeable and irritating.

BTW, Iowa has been mostly normal summer temps (average high for middle of July is 86 in Des Moines area), although somewhat drier in places.

RE: Iowa has been mostly normal....

Iowa must be better due to lots of those electric cars and no gas stoves. Just a guess.😜

This summer has been brutal here in SE Texas. Over 100 every day since early June with no relief in sight. Our big concern is if the electric power suppliers can keep up since they have gone all woke on wind and solar. When it is this hot, the wind does not blow so windmills are worthless.

Where the heck is Global Warming when you need it? In the Lower Hudson Valley, we've barely had any summer weather this year.

It's late July, and we've finally had a few weeks that contained a few days that hit 90 F--but nothing like our summers here in the 1960s when I was a kid, when it was hot and humid by early May, hit over 100 degrees by late June and July, and stayed in the 80s into August and early September.

This has been a ridiculous year to try to sell the threat of Global Toast. And thank the Lord this summer didn't turn out to be like one I recall in the early 1970s, when summer just never arrived. Never got above the 50s. Later the same year, there was an article published in Scientific American called, "The Summer that Never Was." It mentioned that the same thing had happened about 60 years earlier.

The cause of both of these summer no-shows was agreed to be spectacular volcanoes in the South Pacific, which had belched out so much smoke and gas that the earth was shielded from the sun's rays. The Global Warming scam hadn't been invented yet--where everyone is required to forget that the heat on earth comes from the sun's rays striking our planet. (How do they explain that to kids nowadays?)

It is absolutely amazing that our scientists, etc do not take into account the effects of Solar Panels on buildings and solar panel farms on the environment. The heat generated by these panels is utterly overwhelming.

No wonder the climate is all screwed up.

China also has many coal seam fires that supposedly generate as much CO2 annually as America’s fleet of cars and light duty trucks.

Add some DEW simultaneous fire starts in Canada with who knows what other geoengineering to that media-generated largely false narrative and we’ve got mess that they’ll be looking to further leverage against us, no doubt.

Aw, they seemed so spiritual and so mystically in touch with the flow of the forces of nature as in the Tao Te Ching and the Alan Watts books.

Guess they were hypocrites.

PA/MD/DC/NY/NJ under the gun tomorrow; not as bad as the first week of June and won’t last as long.

I have been following that and hope you all get a break soon. I have seen some temperatures there that I have never even come close to experiencing. We don’t get a lot of extreme heat — not even every year — and usually not for long periods. This year the warmer weather was very late in starting and there have been only a few random days in the mid-eighties. We might get it yet, but it’s been a strange one so far.
