Anheuser-Busch whistleblower Alleges Dylan Mulvaney Fiasco ‘Planned’: ‘Strategic Destruction of Bud Light’
New York Post ^ | June 16, 2023 | Madeline Coggins

Bud Light’s controversial partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney could have been a “strategic” attempt to permanently alter the brand’s audience, according to an anonymous former employee.

The popular beer brand came under fire in April after a post from Mulvaney’s Instagram account featured a personalized Bud Light can. The backlash against the brand in response to partnering with the transgender figure led to a massive slump in sales. Though the company’s CEO insisted in a statement that it “never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” the ex-Anheuser-Busch worker suggested that the move was intentional.

“[Employees] expressed the fact that they were shocked. ‘Why would they do this? What were they thinking?’ Especially now. This is the worst; it’s like the worst time yet, the best timing yet if a company were trying to change the way it operates from a corporate level. And that’s just my opinion,” he said to OutKick’s Tomi Lahren.

This is complete BS. Because nobody expected this boycott. Everyone’s reaction was that “this won’t work” in the beginning. It’s only in hindsight that people claim they “knew this would happen”.

This is reverse psy-ops to get the boycott to stop, and Tomi Lahren is a fake conservative who supports gay-marriage and abortion.

But the only audience they would have gotten from Dylan Mulvaney was children. And children can’t drink in most states.

I agree, dumb plan. But I think it’s just speculation.

Their new "wholesome family gathering" commercial just makes me laugh at their pathetic attempt to correct such a monumental marketing error. Can't wait to see what Target or other Queer Woke companies do.

Did the Dodgers cancel their insulting "Nuns of Perpetual Indulgence" show/event? This is all a result of the Marketing/Sales indoctrination of the idiot Gen-Z students and others who think it's a cool trend including parents. I'm happy to start seeing some backlash.

But then, you have the Space Force general claiming she can't get recruits because of State laws protecting our children, as if they could enlist at their age.

My personal phrase that would get me arrested in the UK:
You LGBTQXYZ freaks can go to hell. Go back into the closet you damn perves and stop grooming our innocent children. Let them be children you sick fucks!

I read somewhere that transvestites, trans-sexuals, etc. amount to around 1.2 million people in the US. Why would Budweiser want to orient its market to a group that makes up a fraction of a percent of the population?

Mulvaney has 11 million followers, and most of them are minors. So, they weren’t going after trans, they were going after under 21s.

There is no more of a sure bet these days then go woke go broke.

Do you think anybody would purposely manipulate shares of stock in the stock market on a sure bet?

If the stock lost 5 billion in value that money came from somewhere. Somebody else made $5 billion, if they sold short in the market.

"I call BullS#$%T on this story. AB would never do something like this without depleting inventory first. If this was the plan, they would have scaled back production and reduced the product that’s in the pipeline. They didn’t do this. Indeed, they are trying to figure out how to offload the inventory their distributors have. This story may be an employee’s view of things, but he knows nothing about how you remove a product from the line."

I dunno Jack, you make a solid argument, but ... InBev intentionally gave the account to a 39-year-old woke woman, who then bragged about what she was about to do to the brand.

"Heinerscheid gave an interview in which she described her efforts to move Bud Light away from a “fratty” and “out-of-touch” image and attract new customers with a more “inclusive” approach.

Bud Light later blamed the partnership on a “third-party ad agency,” though Heinerscheid’s boss Daniel Blake was also placed on leave in the midst of the debacle."

I do believe Plan A -- let's piss off Joe 32-pack Butt Light drinkers -- 'got away from them', but who says destroying the brand wasn't Plan B.

“I have a hard time believing this. “

I don’t believe it either because the wiser choice would be to introduce a new beer brand for the exotic ones.

Grooming kids, and encouraging them to drink beer? How on earth can they justify this?
