A Philadelphia man canvassing for a progressive organization was fatally shot by a fellow campaign staffer Monday while the two were handing out flyers ahead of the city’s mayoral primary election.
Eddie Brokenbough, 46, was struck once in his left armpit by an unidentified 22-year-old staffer around 4 p.m. in the East Germantown neighborhood, police said.
Brokenbough was rushed to a nearby hospital but died 15 minutes after he was shot.
It is unclear what kicked off the deadly fight, but police believe it stemmed from a prior dispute between the pair, who were both campaigning on behalf of the progressive-leaning political group One PA.
Staff Inspector Ernest Ransom, the head of the police department’s homicide unit, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the men “had always had a beef.”

Philadelphia is so corrupt, elections are fraudulent, crime is unchecked and the citizens so amoral and perverted, that only a fool would live, work or go there.
Dead guy has 10 kids, and once shot a guy for chatting with his wife. Both were armed, in this case. No charges...self defense. For now.

I wouldn’t assume these are actual “progressives”. In the cities, the commies just use unemployed gangster wannabes as their foot soldiers to do canvassing and such. They can even get sentenced to do that kind of stuff for “community groups” as part of their community service obligations when they are arrested. That’s how 2 or 3 smelly commie diehards sitting in an office can influence the whole neighborhood, because they get this free labor to help them.
Armpit wounds are usually devastating.

The gun made him do it. It kept jumping into his hand and pointing at people. He tried to get it to stop, to identify as a butterknife, but the damned thing wouldn’t change its pronouns! It was pointing again, and leaped forward on his index finger, causing him to shoot the deceased.
