Andrew Gillum was almost elected Florida governor. Now he’s on trial in federal court
Yahoo News ^ | 4/16/23 | Lawrence Mower

Five years ago, Andrew Gillum was one of the brightest stars in Florida politics.

The then-Tallahassee mayor had a national profile. He won the 2018 Democratic nomination for Florida governor. And he nearly defeated Ron DeSantis, losing by fewer than 34,000 votes, or 0.41 percentage points.

Then came the fall.

In 2020, he was found by police in a South Beach hotel room in the company of a man who appeared to have overdosed on drugs.

And last year, he was indicted by a federal grand jury, accused of lying to FBI agents and defrauding campaign mega donors and organizations that believed they were donating to legitimate political causes.

I think you are exactly right. There used to be 3-4% cheat range limit. AZ showed that’s no longer true. Lake had a 8-10% lead but Hobbs stole it anyways.

My take on it is that the McCain Repukelickings are willing to give over the state to the Democrats until Trump is gone, gone, gone.

I think they believe they can take back the two Senate seats and the governorship any time they want.

I think they're wrong.

If they think that they are wrong. In Mi once the rats got the Governor,AG and SOS they welded the door shut. AZ is in the same boat now.

“Yeah so? Is there something surprising here?”

Yeah! There actually is something surprising. It’s surprising that DeSantis won given the level of cheating that has been a baked-in part of Florida’s elections. Broward County was the worst and fraud was the norm until DeSantis managed to squeeze out a win and clean up the election process. Elections now go smoothly in the county and the rest of Florida.

Gillum was supposed to win. The democrats just failed to properly judge the amount of support for DeSantis and didn’t cheat enough. The same thing as happened to Trump in 2016. Since DeSantis had tightened up the process prior to last year’s election, they weren’t able to cheat again and thus he won by a large percentage.

They are doing the same thing in other states and GOP-led states that have passed no laws to secure their election process will find that more and more Republicans are voted out and the democrats will slowly take over their state.

The Michigan Rats were smart.

They acquired the 2016 ballots from the Red Michigan counties [the Blue counties were too big to give them the ballots before early 2019 - not enough time].

Voila - "Blue wave" in the Red counties.

No Blue wave in the Blue counties.

And the professional Michigan Republicans didn't utter a peep in protest...

The FBI was going after a democrat, of color, liberal, AND sexual weirdo??? Is that possible? I thought the FBI gave out passes for folks in those groups... and someone in ALL of those groups would NEVER be of interest to the FBI. This is weird.

The professional Michigan Republicans approved. That is why they were silent.

I’m convinced that the steal was mastered in Kalifornia, and nationalized in 2020.

Their seats were safe in the Red counties - and now they can do the Kabuki dance of "fighting" the Michigan Democrats - all while racking their swell paychecks and great retirements into the bank.

Awesome grift.

DeSantis only beat him by .44%. I was in the process of looking for a place in Florida at the time and it almost stopped me from moving. It scared me to death that Florida came within half of one percent of electing this gay meth head freak. I thought Florida was going crazy that someone like this could almost become governor and I was afraid I’d invest in a move then the state would be taken over by Demtards who would quickly change everything I was moving there for. In the end I moved anyway and I’m glad I did, but at the time this freak almost getting elected scared me to death.

“I’m convinced that the steal was mastered in Kalifornia, and nationalized in 2020.”

I agree. They worked in California until they perfected the art and then took it nation-wide. As I said, the GOP-led states who failed to make changes to secure their elections in the past couple of years, will probably soon all be voted out. We saw it in Arizona last November. They will pick another two or three states for next year and then they will have the permanent majority in the House and Senate. And they will then win every Presidential election in the future.

Oh, brother. A star, eh? Maybe to the brain-dead propagandists over at yahoo "news".

We sure dodged a bullet there.

This goes to show the power of the media in this country. Gillum’s problems were known before the election. But the media whitewashed them. The media is a force for evil in this country.

You dodged a cannon shell. Think how many rooms the Governor’s Mansion had for him to trash and crap in. They would had to hire more maids and have a crew of carpenters on site permanently. I do not know why Democrats like to be defecated on, but him and Ed Buck are living examples.
