Former President Trump on Monday claimed former Vice President Mike Pence was responsible for the violence on Jan. 6, 2021, two days after Pence took aim at his old boss for his conduct around the riots at the Capitol that day.
Trump, speaking to a group of reporters aboard his personal plane en route to a campaign event in Iowa, responded to comments Pence made at the annual Gridiron Dinner in Washington, D.C., in which the former vice president said “history will hold Donald Trump accountable” for the events of Jan. 6.

It’s a very interesting question, though, to what extent the VPOTUS’s electoral college certification powers can be channeled by Congress, if at all.
He certainly didn't do what he was constitutional capable of doing. He's an ignorant man, and I doubt he is really all that religious of a man either. He couldn't even stand fast with Defense of Marriage being between a man & a woman when he was governor of Indiana. I wonder if he now questions what the definition of a woman is.

Maybe someone could cut and paste the part of the Constitution that gives the VP the authority to reject Electoral Votes? The only duty of the VP, per the Constitution, is to open the envelopes, and hand the Electoral Ballots to the Tellers to be counted.
The Constitution says very clearly that Congress decides whether or not to reject Electoral Ballots, not the VP.
