Silicon Valley Bank employees received bonuses hours before government takeover

The size of the payouts couldn’t be determined, but SVB bonuses range from about $12,000 for associates to $140,000 for managing directors, according to Glassdoor.com.
SVB was the highest-paying publicly traded bank in 2018, with employees getting an average of $250,683 for that year, according to Bloomberg.

The bonuses are chicken 💩 compared to insider trading by executives days prior to collapse.
These people are woke as hell … all that ESG, DIE, LGBTQ+, alphabet soup crap. I’m thinking, but have not read, that there is a money trail leading to politicians, err, ‘legal campaign contributions’, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. This whole failure may lead to interesting places. Remember the Keating Five? Well, close, not exactly the same. Lincoln Financial was in the process of delayed failure for something like 5 years (check that). It wouldn’t surprise me that SVG was in trouble for quite some time. Look backwards for political donations and meetings. I wonder if Paul Pelosi had any involvement.

Reality bites.... perhaps they should have hired less 250k a year woke kids with big degrees and they should have hired more financial types.
What is disgusting is that it is probably 50/50 that my kids will pay to bail them out......
