My only answer to any of this stuff....go and talk to China, tell them to stop firing up coal powered plants weekly.

Until then, I’m not interested.

If anyone was serious, they wouldn’t be telling me I need to drive an electric car.

False theory - theory has been disproven by its failed previous predictions
False models - the models are not validated and the output is noise

Having an AI (just a bunch of code) run false models to review false outputs yields the expected false outcome.

Besides, according to these same people we only had 10 years to stop the warming, and that was back in the 1970s. Oops, my bad, that was 10 years to stop global cooling. Of course the solution was same. Then there was only 10 years to stop the warming but that clock started in the 1980s. Therefore, per these same people, we are already past the point of no return, so there is no point spending money trying to stop it.

(wonder if Stanford's the least bit embarrassed over this latest pantload?)

When Volcanic explosions can be controlled then the climate experts and AI might have some relevance, until then its all speculation with many variables.

Who funded the study? Who developed the AI that manipulated the data? After all, AI reflects the bias and prejudice of its developers. Nuanced, but real none-the-less.

And yet the Greeniacs continue to attack the US for climate change and ignore China’s continuing to build coal fired power plants and India’s ignoring any suggestion they cut their CO2 emissions.

“The AI predicts a high probability [of reaching 1.5 degrees] in the next 10 to 15 years, even if emissions are reduced in that time period.”

So then, what's the point? Just yesterday, we saw reports that China approved another 50 GW of coal fired power plants last year. They sure as hell aren't worried about 2100.

Everything I ever needed to know about how The Authorities really feel about climate change, is embodied in Obama's home on Martha's Vineyard.

Wow... is that for real? He's come a long way from the time when he had to do a shady yard sale with a crook just to buy a decent house in Chi-town.

Yes, he was a very smart guy.

From what I saw on Juan Browne’s YouTube channel, Nevada Co, CA could use about three of those 1.5 degrees of extra temperature to help melt their three feet of new snow.

Yup, it's for real.

The Obamas paid $11.75 million for the property listed with a $14.85 million price tag. The same day the deed was recorded, a mortgage for $7.05 million also was put on the record. The lender was JP Morgan Chase, and the loan had a standard second-home rider. The prior owner, Boston Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck, had been trying to sell the home, set on 29 waterfront acres, since August 2015 when he initially listed it at $22.5 million, according to Zillow. Over the ensuing four years, the property was on and off the market with three price reductions. The 6,892-square-foot house has private beaches along the shore of Edgartown’s Great Pond, a mix of fresh and salty water that opens to the ocean.

As a capitalist, I don't envy the Obamas and their wealth. More power to them.

But they could have bought ANYWHERE in the US. Their selection of a palatial manor, standing a football's throw from globull warming's razor edge, has more information content than any AI model or "scientific" result.

Actually, many experts think India has already passed them. India has delayed their most recent census, due to Covid. China's population is Declining, and will continue to do so, dramatically, for the next decade. They're now seeing the impact of their "one-child" policy.
