A new Stanford study found that even if we reach net zero emissions by 2100, global warming is on track to eclipse critical preventative goals set by the United Nations in the Paris Climate Agreement of 2015.
Researchers used artificial neural networks to predict the time until critical global warming thresholds are reached. The model projected that global warming would reach 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial levels between 2033 and 2035.
The AI model uses historical temperature data and climate simulations as inputs. This unique approach allows the machine learning model to make more accurate predictions beyond the scope of historical data, according to Noah Diffenbaugh, the study’s lead author and Stanford professor of earth systems. Further, they say the AI could separate signal from noise and directly incorporate uncertainties into the prediction.
“The main message from the AI prediction [is] that the world’s on the cusp of reaching 1.5 degrees of warming,” said Diffenbaugh. “The AI predicts a high probability [of reaching 1.5 degrees] in the next 10 to 15 years, even if emissions are reduced in that time period.”

They are trying to use corrupted science as a basis to usher in a type of green socialism. I remember a speech by Gorbachev from a little before the year 2000 as he had joined an international enviromental group who said that enviromentalism and climate change would be the new vehicles by which international socialism could be ushered in.

I used a real neural network to conclude that this article is BS.
The “climate threshold” the UN is worried about is 1.5 degrees C. We have already warmed about 1.25 degrees C since 1850. And no catastrophe has occurred. The coral is fine, the penguins are fine, the snail darters and spotted owls are all fine, not that I have ever seen any of these creatures so would not miss them if they disappeared.
As soon as they go after china in a big way for building dirty coal plants I might pay attention.
This time they really mean it.
In other words, we programmed it to tell us exactly what we want it to tell us.

Last week in Central Texas the high was supposed to be 82, and the news reader also said, “not a record high for this date”. So I looked it up. Some of the hottest weather on record was in the 30’s, 50’s and the 80’s. It’s really random on any particular day and keep in mind, the accurate weather records only go back less that 100 years. How was internal combustion engines and R12 Freon hurting the environment in 1930?
Any computer program is always less intelligent than its creators. If you don’t trust leftist nerds in real life, why would you trust one of their leftist nerd computer programs?
Climate is a thermodynamic system, so until the modeling adapts to the correct foundation it will always be wrong. REAL wrong.
Only people who’ve been educated beyond their capacity for comprehension can/will believe the atmosphere (or a barely discernible component thereof) has anything to do with causing climate.
