A 6-year-old who shot his teacher allegedly told another educator he wanted to light her on fire and watch her die, according to a report.
Last month, the troubled boy nearly made good on his apparent murderous impulses, shooting first grader teacher Abigail Zwerner at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News., Va., officials have said. Zwerner survived.
Zwerner and other Richneck teachers said they had shared their fears about the child’s grave behavior with administrators, only to have their concerns downplayed or ignored, The Washington Post reported.
Zwerner had asked for support with the boy, and expressed concerns about his behavior, teachers wrote in online messages to Newport News Superintendent George Parker III.
Abigail Zwerner was reportedly finally released from the hospital this week. “She had asked for help,” one school staff member wrote in the chat.
“Several times,” another added.
The child, who was known to throw furniture and other objects in the classroom, once wrote a note to a teacher in which he told her hated her, wanted to set her on fire to kill her, the teachers union told The Washington Post. When she brought the disturbing letter to school administrators, they told her to drop it, according to the teacher.

Juvie ain’t for Juveniles any more. In our locally based Juvenile prison..called of course rehab facility. They busted a fentanyl smuggling and sales operation within the facility. The kingpins were 3 teens, ages 20, 19 and 18 years old.

Taxpayers money shouldn’t be wasted on trying to rehabilitate those who can’t be.
A .22 to the back of the head is cheaper for all involved.
In 1960’s America, the Teacher beats the kids ass and sends him home with a note and referral to Special Ed.
If and when the Father or Mother shows up to complain about their freakshow of a child, a REAL Male WW 2 or Korean vet Teacher, beats his or her ass too.
Call the Cops? and they come in, talk to all parties, and arrest the childs parent or parents.
Kid goes to the art and get a job-education system. IF he can hack it as a human being and young citizen.
A few years ago i was at my towns annual town fair.
My buddy’s Asperger inflicted young son confided to me that he wanted to kill, burn everybody there.
Really creeped me out because i could tell that he meant it.

It is not an easy subject and each situation will have unique factors, but after 3 decades of having my nose rubbed in it there is undeniably a link between fetal and childhood development and “bad behavior” from petty crime to mass murder. I have seen it all and everything in between.
I am not a bleeding heart either. At some point, it is extraordinarily difficult or even impossible to “fix” the damage to the “wiring” regardless of the damage mechanism.
The brain is a fragile thing. We have tragically seen this in our soldiers with traumatic brain injuries, our athletes with chronic brain injuries, and we read about it in the news every day with horrible stories of people doing awful things.
I do believe there are some people who simply choose to be “evil”, but I also know from my own experiences that many, if not most, were wired that way through mechanisms beyond their control. At some point you have to separate them from the rest of society even if you pity them.

That perspective may complicate the situation for some, for others, it clarifies.
There are cases of children who are born sociopaths, relentlessly violent from the day they can walk. This looks to be one of them, whatever the etiology might be.
There was also Idi Amin and Shaka, both violent, evil men. They come in all colors.
I will concede that different races/cultures breed different sorts of evil and bad people. For example, Hitler’s evil was permeated with German efficiency and precision. There are Irishmen who drink and beat their wives, and Jews who are cheap and stingy. But I don’t see any characteristics in this little nipper that are stereotypical of blacks. The POS who abused my daughter and nearly killed her other daughter (not his) was a lazy, shiftless, illiterate POS, seemingly a KKK poster boy of what they hate in blacks. His daughter, my grandchild, however, is saintly, gentle and sweet, and also very smart. But this violent little f@#$ is just a violent little f@#$, of no particular stereotype.
But I don’t see any characteristics in this little nipper that are stereotypical of blacks.
Culture is different than skin color.
