WASHINGTON (AP) — The intruder who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband in their San Francisco home was searching for the Democratic leader, shouting “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?” before assaulting Paul Pelosi with a hammer.
That was a chilling echo of the chants during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the Capitol, when rioters trying to stop Joe Biden’s election searched menacingly through the halls for the speaker.
The suspect was identified as David Depape, two of the people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. He was in custody.

I’m sure the SFO police paid no attention to this weirdo bc he looked perfectly normal for that city. I’m reminded of when they filmed the Star Trek movie with Spock and Kirk returning to 20th century San Francisco and both wearing bizarre Space Age getups. The producer figured that they could save on extras by just filming the reaction of San Franciscans when they passed by the strangely dressed duo. The film crew got absolutely no reaction from the passersby as the abnormal is fully normal in San Francisco.
Mainstream media outlets are busy hunting down a photo from David Depape’s social media that they can photoshop a MAGA hat on his head.
So apparently even Nancy is too “conservative” for this hippy.
